Arsenal have one won league title in 9 years. The fact that Bruno Fernandes would walk into that Arsenal team and be their best player is an indictment of , we need to build a team, get our scouting correct and sign the right players. Not throw money at players that don’t want to be here.

There are currently approximately 30 players earning more than 200k a week in the Prem. over 90% of them play for Arsenal, City and Liverpool. No club outside those 3 have won the league for 9 years. Makes United's wage cap of 200k interesting doesn't it.

Feel for the Geordies. We’ve had a fair bit of banter over the years but the way the players who they have idolised have jumped ship in last 12 months to go wherever the money is and not willing to stay and help the club rebuild is a sickener for them I’m sure. Not going to gloat over any of it and pray for the day the rules are changed to allow for proper competition. I won’t hold my breath though!
