Reading a few comments, I'm so sorry if this sent the wrong message. I'm not thinking clear and very emotional and probably over sharing. But, - It's not over. Sorry for any confusion. This was Erin and I visiting Olive today around 5 pm. It's not good, but yesterday the internist doc said they wanted 72 hours to see if she responded to treatment. SO today, this pic is after the first 24. They are trying a new med to the mix - it's a Hail Mary. Her evening bloods showed a small improvement. Creatinine went form 14 ->12 BUN came down a little She has been urinating more and more. She fell asleep in Erins arms again and we thinks becasue she feels safe. She is bonded to Erin more than me and I think I can say the same about Erin to her lol. Anyhow. again, sorry for any confusion. SHes still fighting, we are still fighting and the docs aren't ready to give up, so thats where this is.

He stands on his hind legs, taps your leg or hips with his paws, and wants to be picked up. He hugs you when you pick him up and he gives kisses too! Despite everything he's been through, Cinder still loves people and wants to be loved by them. He's playful, cuddly, & just an all-around weirdo 😂 He's been with us on dozens of adoption events, only to be passed over because of how his scar looks. He doesn't understand why. @marydaydream7 @lanabeesfw I tried to save a sweet lil bumbler recently. She might've just been old, but I couldn't leave her helpless on the concrete. I fed and watched her overnight, gave her a little shelter to try and recover, but in the morning she was still. Thank you for trying ❤️‍🩹

@lanabeesfw I’ve found a bumblebee with exact same symptoms this week and I did the exact same thing as you, but it wouldn’t get up and kept twitching, a couple hours later the movements grew weaker and I’ve decided to put him in the freezer :( He’s buried in the flowers

This is a pregnant wild jumping spider with DKS, Dyskinetic Syndrome. She will most likely not survive. This is what happens with the use of pesticides. Her nervous system is misfiring, leading to uncontrollable movements and confusion. She cannot stay upright, only able to lay on her back. She cannot use her mouth parts correctly. In the wild, she would be dead by the end of the day. She has a small chance of recovery, I’ve misted her to help remove the pesticides and given her a 1:4 sugar water mixture to hydrate her and help her regain her strength. Now all i can do is let her rest and hope. Please opt for non pesticide solutions. The poison doesn’t just get rid of “pests”, it kills our spiders and pollinators. It’s killing our world.

The City of Cleveland has officially rejected the permit application for the proposed hyperscale data center campus planned for Slavic Village. The $1.6 billion project would have brought multiple large data center buildings to a 35-acre site near Interstate 77 and East 55th Street. The proposal generated major discussion across the city after details revealed the facility could require roughly 150 megawatts of power, an amount compared to the energy usage of around 100,000 homes. @JessicaNigri It's the total bastardization of the collection hobby—and the *performance* of it. People are paid by a company (selling the lowest effort landfill they can manage) to perform excitement for the camera, astroturfing hype for a product that never bothered to connect with anybody.
