Judiciary-linked media claimed he was convicted in connection with the killing of a police officer and cited charges including blocking roads and property destruction. Abdollahzadeh was arrested in Urmia on October 22, 2022, during the protests, reportedly held under torture for months, and sentenced to death in September 2024.

Un grand merci à LCI de rendre hommage aux victimes de la répression iranienne en mettant des noms sur des visages, comme celui de Sasan Azadvar, champion de karaté, assassiné hier par le régime des mollahs pour avoir manifesté pacifiquement pour la liberté. Il avait 21 ans. 💔 Honte à ceux qui continuent de regarder ailleurs alors que la République islamique d’Iran poursuit ses exécutions dans l’impunité la plus totale !
