Other robot companies, Boston dynamics for example, has been around for 30 years. Optimus is ~3 years old. In terms of utility, no other humanoid robot right now is significantly better than Optimus. So they can do backflips all they want, their utility right now is 0. Given that Optimus is 3 years old, you can’t discredit Tesla engineers to go from a prototype to this version in such a short period of time

Fake demos, CGI vaporware, teleoperated robots barely capable of walking, cars that help you crash, traffic jams under malls (=Hyperloop), buses so low they would crash into speed bumbs... Remove the hype and subsidies and all that's left is lies and dreams of oligarchy.
