مهم/ أكثر من 40 مقبرة جماعية تقع في المنطقة الممتدة ضمن سهل عكاز شمال ناحية الصقلاوية، بين ناظم تقسيم الثرثار وجزيرة كصيبة، تضم رفات مدنيين من الصقلاوية والأنبار تمّت تصفيتهم على يد مليشيات الحشد الشعبي، بحسب شهادات موثقة ومتقاطعة أغلبية الضحايا من أبناء الصقلاوية، وتمت عمليات التصفية تقريباً بتاريخ 6/6/2016 بعد اختطافهم أثناء العمليات العسكرية اليوم يحاول الجهاز الإعلامي المليشياوي تحريف الحقائق وإبعاد التهمة عن الجناة الحقيقيين، عبر الترويج لفيديو يدّعي العثور على “أدلة” تعود لفترة التسعينات، هذه المزاعم مطعون بها وتبدو محاولة متعمدة لتغيير مسار أي تحقيق حقيقي وطمس معالم الجريمة نطالب لجنة Committee on Enforced Disappearances بالتدخل العاجل، وأخذ عينات DNA من الجثث ومطابقتها مع عوائل المغيبين، ونشر صور الأقمار الصناعية الخاصة بالفترة التي تمت فيها عمليات التصفية، وإعلان الحقيقة كاملة أمام الرأي العام الدولي. More than 40 mass graves are located in the area stretching across the Akkaz Plain north of Saqlawiyah, between the Tharthar Division Regulator and Kusaiba Island. These graves contain the remains of civilians from Saqlawiyah and Anbar who were reportedly executed by Popular Mobilization militias, according to multiple documented testimonies. The majority of the victims were residents of Saqlawiyah and were allegedly executed around 6 June 2016 after being abducted during military operations. Today, militia-affiliated media outlets are attempting to distort the facts and divert responsibility away from the real perpetrators by promoting a video claiming the discovery of “evidence” dating back to the 1990s. These claims are highly questionable and appear to be a deliberate attempt to manipulate the course of any genuine investigation and conceal the crime.
