I am heartbroken by the killing of Joan Sebastian Guerrero. He was 26 years old—a husband and a father to a 3-year-old girl. My prayers are with his family, his loved ones, and his community in neighboring Maine. No family should ever lose a father this way, and no one should ever have to watch it happen. We need a full, independent, public, and swift investigation and accountability. Now. America’s law enforcement officers do dangerous and necessary work—mission-critical work that can only be done well and faithfully with the trust of the people America’s law enforcement swears an oath to serve. That trust is built on professionalism, transparency, respect for human life, and accountability. Right now, that trust is being extinguished. And I will not quit fighting until we get answers, accountability, and safety for every community in the United States of America.

Hear me out. Instead of expecting 8 billion people to become experts from watching YouTube videos on every new infectious disease that emerges, what if we relied on people who study infectious diseases for a living? We could even organize them into public health agencies that track outbreaks, analyze the evidence, forecast emerging risks, and translate complex science into clear, practical advice for everyone else.

Fed Chair Warsh pointed out that the Fed has 23,000 employees. What a waste of money and human labor. The mere fact that the Fed has so many employees is evidence enough to abolish the entire institution. When the Fed began operations on Nov. 2, 1914, it had just 40 employees.

This morning, ICE shot and killed a man in Maine. The week before, they murdered a man in Texas. This type of state-sanctioned violence cannot be normalized. Until we finally ABOLISH ICE, we have to take legal action against this fascist agency.

What is your solution? How do you propose we deal with the situation? Are you ok with immigrants coming in illegally? What happens if they commit a crime? Is there any recourse for victims? So many questions, and such little intellect from you to solve them. You sound like a whiny kid.

I agree and here is the solution- When any criminal is arrested they go to jail. While in jail, and the inmate is determined to be an illegal immigrant, ICE is notified While in jail, under the supervision of law enforcement, the inmate is transferred to custody of ICE While in jail, the inmate is not in any harms way. This does a number of things- Keeps the criminal off the street while in jail Gets the inmate off the books when transferred to ICE, so no cost, or the govt pays for the center to keep them, either way a plus Keeps ICE off the streets looking for criminals because they have already been arrested Keeps ICE busy with processing so no time to look on the streets Keeps everybody happy because no one gets shot, the criminals are not harming or stealing and minimal disruption. Counterpoint?

I do not know if the ICE shooting in Maine is justified or not. But even if it is, and you know I support law-enforcement, there has to be a better way. There are too many people being killed.

Dave Ramsey tells mom her daughter doesn’t get to choose a $30K a year college because she has no money Caller: “Our oldest daughter is starting college for mechanical engineering, but we have nothing saved for her and two more kids coming up after her. We make just over $200,000, and she chose Iowa State at about $30,000 a year partly because her friends are going there” “She doesn’t get to choose. She doesn’t have any money. I’m not going to endorse paying more because we drove across a state line. There’s no value added to the quality of her education” “Otherwise, this kid’s going to end up $150,000 in student loan debt because her friends went there. Nobody gives a crap where her friends went. They won’t even be her friends in a decade”

"Moms don't want to work anymore.." Actually Mom's don't want to pay $2,400 a month for someone else to watch their kid hit every milestone. They don't want to miss the first steps because they were on a Zoom call at work. They don't want to ask for time off to take their sick baby to the doctor. Moms don't hate working. They hate working in a system that pretends their family doesn't exist.

@BernieSanders 100 % of Americans support my suggestion for you to give us a free weekend at one of your mansions, and for you to give up your right to any ownership since it is not your money that bought them

The two fastest-growing economies in the 21st century have been China and Vietnam. Both follow a model that's shockingly easy to summarise: a socialist market economy focused on export-oriented industrialization.

Corporations spent $1 trillion on stock buybacks this year, shattering records. Then they tell you they can’t afford higher wages. Buybacks were illegal for decades for a reason. They enrich shareholders while workers get left behind.

Citizens United was one of the worst Supreme Court decisions in our history. It's why I've pushed 18-year term limits for a Court with too much unchecked power, why I support public campaign financing, & why I'm proud to co-sponsor ending Citizens United for good.

Social Security is a fucking SCAM. Let's use Lindsey Graham's recent death as an example. Graham died at the age of 71. This is way too early to draw enough benefit from Social Security to recoup the money he was forced to pay in during his adult working life. If he had been permitted to deposit that money into a Roth IRA or various 401k funds he would have been able to select a beneficiary that those funds would go to upon his untimely death. As it stands - No one gets that money. The IRS keeps it. That's fucking criminal.

Not sure why you all bother arguing with posts like this. In my opinion, they are only posting to rile people up and get engagement so they can get paid. They obviously are uneducated and could care less the difference between the 2. This platform is only about pointing out perseeved problems, it is never about real solutions. So, Skum, what is your solution? What is your take? Besides providing the snide snarky smart ass comment, what do you propose? Explain how it would work? Who would benefit, and how? What is the downside? Cost benefit? Who enforces and how? What happens to the funds? I am looking forward to real debate.

You can't tax rich people on unrealized gains from stocks because "it's not real money until it's sold." So explain to me why my property taxes keep going up based on the unrealized value of my house? I didn't sell it, didn't cash out and didn't even make a profit. But somehow I'm paying taxes on paper gains every single year. Interesting how "unrealized gains" only become a problem when wealthy folks are involved.

Yesterday you were blasting the entire airline industry for being incompetent and today you wanr to be nice? Hey, all for it, give your family a hug, your friends a call and your co-workers a pat on the back. But please try to be more patient with people who work doing things that help you do what you need to do.

Yes doing his job, unlike any administration prior to him. Unlike any inspector general, unlike any administrative manager in the government who was in charge of this. No, we aren't naive NOW, but what's your point? What is your take? Are you being facetious? Are you for it? Against it?

@ConstitustionX Isn’t this simply doing his job? Don’t go thinking MN cornered the market on fraud. Our stupid govt sends money to fraudsters throughout the country & abroad because they don’t do enough upfront before making payments. That’s a different subject. #ReleaseAllTheEpsteinFiles

🚨 BOMBSHELL ALERT 🚨 The fraudsters who looted BILLIONS from Minnesota families just got the rug pulled out from under them! Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just dropped the hammer: The IRS is launching MASSIVE, RELENTLESS AUDITS on every bank, MSB, and dirty-money middleman who helped launder the stolen cash. THEY HAVE NOWHERE TO HIDE. No more hiding behind shell companies. No more wiring taxpayer dollars to Somalia while American families suffer. Every dirty transaction is about to be TORCHED under the microscope. For once, the IRS is hunting the REAL criminals — not you. Follow the money. Expose them all. Prosecute without mercy. The Great Reckoning is here. Thank you, Sec. Bessent! 🇺🇸💥 RT if you want every last fraudster dragged into the light!
