@yerdas_outV2 i’ve been saying since like 2018, he’s absolutely tragic. he’s literally never done a good job at any club he’s been.
ppl just wanted to make him the new Klopp at all costs cause he was also a mediocre player who came up at Mainz, but nothing to back it up managerially.

Honestly don’t think Yzerman did a bad job considering what he had to work with. Terrible draft luck that he made the best of. Made some bad trades, but it’s not his fault this team collapsed 3 years in a row in March, that’s on the players.

on the other hand, his inconsistency, injury woes, fact he wasn’t a high pick and lack of a special trait, I can see him never carving out a role.
rooting for him tho, has improved a lot since his DY+1

@MSantos55513 I think his floor is actually quite high, and I do have a relatively high degree of confidence that he'll be a full-timer.
His health is the biggest roadblock to that, imo.

Given how good he is defensively, too, I feel as if Broz's NHL potential is a bit undersold by a lot of folks.
Even if he's not a top-six player, he should be a very solid depth center.

@MSantos55513 @NicoSchira Admittedly Rose and Bournemouth is a bit of an unknown quantity so it's hard to know right now how it'll go post Iraola, but Bournemouth have been making consistently good decisions for the past 3 or 4 seasons and really know how to develop talent.

there also a huge bias and tendency to overrate players who are "boom-or-bust" in these prospect discourses, but that’s a convo for another day.

Based on the stuff we can measure the point production is high end (63 PTS in 63 GP in AHL, 6 in 6 GP at Worlds, 6 in 13 GP in NHL) and his expected play is great in the NHL (59.3 xGF%)
