Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu. Habaari. Greetings to all of you. Of recent, I have noticed a lot of orwaari (noise, kelele), regarding the Sovereignty Bill. Which Sovereignty Bill is the rwaari about? The one I initiated in the Cabinet or another one? The Bill will stop FDIs (Foreign Direct Investments), support for religious bodies from abroad, Remittances from Ugandans working abroad, etc., etc. Really!! That is not the Bill I initiated. Below is clarification on what I initiated.

I have noted comments & remarks on social media some from senior PLU leaders suggesting that Gen. @mkainerugaba did not attend the Birthday Run to avoid certain Govt officials seeking photographs with him. This is false. The CDF was unable to attend due to other important engagements.

Am one of those Ugandans who doesn't hesitate the capacity of @CID1_UG to investigate case. However complexity the case, you can't hide from them if they seriously want you. The problem is that they are less facilitated. @Parliament_Ug needs to give these guys more money.

I do NOT like Japanese cars but there is something about this car…. The Toyota Land Cruiser 100 Series (UZJ100) features the legendary 4.7L 2UZ-FE V8 petrol engine, widely acclaimed for its reliability, smoothness, and immense longevity (often exceeding 500,000 km with proper maintenance). It delivers roughly 235 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque, with a notably high fuel consumption. Fuel consumption never decided for me a car to drive. This is a car built to last. You want durability go this. I choose it anyway over its much newer relatives.

The Judiciary has this evening resumed its bi-weekly health aerobics sessions at the Judiciary Headquarters grounds in Kampala, reaffirming its commitment to staff wellness and productivity. While welcoming participants, the Acting Chief Justice, Dr Flavian Zeija, reiterated an earlier position advanced by the Principal Judge that participation in health aerobics should be compulsory. He emphasized that regular physical exercise is essential for improving health and preventing illness. He further noted that the theme of this year’s Annual Judges’ Conference is wellness, explaining that making aerobics compulsory, including integrating it into the Performance Enhancement Tool (PET), is a practical and sustainable way of advancing this objective. The Principal Judge, Lady Justice Jane Frances Abodo, described the initiative as highly beneficial, noting that it enhances both staff well-being and productivity at work. She commended the commitment of the Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Judiciary to staff welfare and stressed that participation in health aerobics should be mandatory rather than optional. The Permanent Secretary/Secretary to the Judiciary, Dr Pius Bigirimana, reminded staff that the long-standing practice during aerobics sessions is to dedicate one full hour to intensive exercise. He also recalled an earlier proposal to institutionalise a shared meal once every quarter to further strengthen staff cohesion. He observed that the aerobics forum equally serves as an engagement platform, similar to a baraza, for sharing administrative updates, policies, and other developments within the Judiciary, a practice he said he will continue. Dr Bigirimana emphasized that when the Chief Justice speaks, it becomes policy, which he takes seriously and implements. In that regard, he announced that participation in health aerobics is now compulsory and that attendance will be analysed and considered in staff promotions and commendations. The aerobics session was attended by the Acting Chief Registrar, HW Lamunu Pamella Ocaya, members of Senior Management, and Staff of the Judiciary from different court stations

@FERDINANDIUS @PoliceUg @KawalaRachael At the time she was burried, well as the case of disappearance had been reported to Wandegeya police. No one had claimed the body at Nagalama Police yet it was decomposing. The best thing was to bury it as they wait for anyone to claim it.

. @KawalaRachael "The Territorial Police in Kampala Metropolitan North are investigating the murder of Aneza Merisa, a student at Naalya SS, Lugazi Campus. The case was first reported to Wandegeya Police Station on 6th November 2025 by her mother, Kamuganga Sarah, who reported her missing. On 10th November 2025, a decomposing body was recovered from Musaale Swamp in Namulaba Village, Kyampisi Subcounty, under Nagalama Police Station. The body was dressed in a navy-blue student skirt labeled “Nanyonga VII,” suggesting that the victim may have been a student. Due to the body’s advanced state of decomposition, it was buried by mortuary staff in Kayunga. However, as the investigation progressed, police sought and obtained a court order to exhume the body for proper identification. DNA samples were extracted and submitted to the Forensics Headquarters in Naguru. The results have since returned positive, confirming that the body recovered in Nagalama is that of the missing juvenile, Aneza Merisa. With this confirmation, we are now treating the case as a murder investigation. Detectives are following leads to establish the circumstances under which Aneza was killed and her body dumped in the swamp. We extend our deepest condolences to the family and assure the public that we are committed to bringing the perpetrators to justice. The body was handed over to the relatives for burial on Saturday.

I can never sit in a meeting to discuss items or money to be given to me for my daughter. That would be an insult to my daughter, and a display of greed on my part. My daughter is not like a cow that I’m breeding for the market, for me to earn from her marriage. All I would wish for is a sensible man who would treat her right, and that they love each other. The introduction ceremony should basically be about the two families meeting and getting to know each other. Many young people in these hard times are no longer able to marry because of these retrogressive (primitive) practices that hardly ever get to be questioned. Today, Kukyala is a huge show-off function. Kwanjula is like a concert. Then a bigger religious wedding! Culture can be improved as times change. Otherwise, things that were once meaningful can evolve into a nuisance protected under the banner of CULTURE.

Abraham Luzzi has just blown the Kampala race wide open. He refused to pretend came here with corn breed honesty and that has changed the dynamics. How do the other candidates cope with that. Also become honest or stick to the old methods and gamble with those. He is a breathe of fresh air.
