The US is the world's biggest exporter of weapons of war with 42% of all arms transfers originating in the US - meanwhile Cuba is the biggest exporter of doctors and healthcare workers in the world, with nearly 30,000 doctors helping to save lives in over 50 countries. Basically, the country that exports death wants to destroy the country that exports life. This tracks.

10 million people in Cuba (larger than the population of NYC) are without electricity because the American government has snatched the Venezuelan oil upon which it depends, and promised punishment to anybody else that tries to help.

In my meeting with President Trump last month, we discussed ICE’s actions at Columbia University. I asked that the federal government release Leqaa Kordia and drop the cases against four others. I am grateful that Leqaa has been released this evening from ICE custody after more than a year in detention for speaking up for Palestinian rights.

There is an active campaign by right wing media against DSA, namely, highlighting that there are Communists in the organization and in leadership positions. My guess is that they probably trying to see if electeds will denounce the Communists and trigger destructive infighting. Don’t fall for it, destabilization and confusion serves the enemy.
