3D Printing YouTuber Loyal Moses is so dishonest with his viewers... For example, he stiffed me for $200+ worth of 3D-printed helmets, then basically ghosted me. And after I got in touch with his wife instead, who promised me a refund. He "forgot" to pay said refund 3 times. Then he stiffed me for a 3rd. Helmet I won on his stream. So cringe. But it will probably never catch up to him because he buys views by giving away free filament on his streams. This is how he fools viewers into thinking he's a nice guy, like real professionals do.

@jason_pawulon @jackhuynh @AMD That sort of thinking is what led to Nvidia being able to charge $2000 per flagship card. And charge what used to be flagship price for entry level cards. The current "monopoly" is also why they're "superior" in RTX. They weren't actually. But devs only optimize for Nvidia cards.

@GendoWasRight @digitalfoundry DLSS1.0 was objectively horrible. Even access journalism hacks like DF had a hard time excusing it as anything other than a "first step" that "will get better". At least DLSS5 looks like it might just be a matter of differences in taste. The question is at what cost though.

I can't believe that Nvidia looked at this "AI on top of games filter" and said to themselves this is the future of gaming. Like it or not, this is where Nvidia is heading and they're calling it neural rendering with DLSS 5. The examples they've showed reminded me a lot of those AI generated filter videos on top of GTA V, except that now it is supposed to run in real-time. Honestly, I don't like this current look at all

@blackbeltbap @ZacksJerryRig @dmbkparker Helicopters "autorotate" for emergency landings if they lose engine power. Pilots train excessively on it. A friend of mine who was onboard for such an emergency landing told me the landing had been softer than a lot of landings he'd experienced _with_ engine power. 😅

@ZacksJerryRig @dmbkparker I find helicopters more interesting technology wise, but safety wise I would rather ride in a plane. From what I know, tech on a helicopter fails probably gonna die, tech on a plane fails, you now have a glider, find a safe place to land and you will be fine.

The problem, and I know this is hard to follow, is that it... looks like shit If you smeared dog shit on a camera lens, lit someone's face up with about $8,000 of studio-grade 5500K lighting, and then added some lipstick, you get DLSS5. It looks like shit. It's that simple.

Are we supposed to actually believe DLSS 5 gives developers control to maintain a game's "unique aesthetic" when the examples they show completely change the artistic style of some characters? "Ah yes, this completely different looking person is what I wanted all along!"

I tried. No politician would listen. @loyalmoses tried. No politician would listen. Others tried. No politician would listen. WA HB 2320 has been sent to the governor to sign into law. I have no doubt he will sign it. Once this is law, it sets precedent for similar bills in other states. THIS makes the slope very slippery.

To clarify: I wasn’t calling anyone a “fake citizen” because they’re from Puerto Rico. I live in Puerto Rico, and I love Puerto Rico. I have used my platform to support Puerto Rico time and time again and will always do so. But if you’re publicly criticizing ICE who are doing their job and openly hating on America, I’m going to speak on it. Period. That’s the same reason I called out Hunter Hess. If you benefit from a country and the platform it gives you, but publicly disrespect it at the same time, that’s what I mean by being a fake citizen. And I agree love is more powerful than hate.
