@bcherny @vasuman @bcherny I loved Claude months ago but literally cancelled my 20x max subscription and signed up for Codex. Please stop beta testing on us. No point of velocity if it’s making harness garbage.

@vasuman I know it’s cool but it is actually a bug. Quick fix: resize your terminal Actual fix: 1. Make sure you’re running the latest cc: claude update 2. Today’s release includes one more fix for one more corner case some people are hitting, run claude update tomorrow

Our master plan is to release better and more efficient models. And also to release better products, week after week. Oh and get more compute too. Together with spending too much time on x. How good is this plan?

Do you use the Codex diff viewer? I'm curious how you like it and if you think there are parts we can improve? Lemme know!

Fair warning, YC founders: if you take these tokens, there’s a non-zero chance that OpenAI will study exactly what your startup is doing, copy your idea and put your app into their free offering. This is the classic platform playbook — be careful, founders!
Tyler Bosmeny@bosmeny

A mic drop moment @ycombinator tonight @sama just offered $2M in OpenAI tokens to EVERY YC startup in the current batch in exchange for equity Just like Yuri Milner offering to invest in every startup back when Sam was a YC partner I can't wait to see what's unlocked when you let the most driven, creative and formidable founders tokenmaxx

In an early meeting at Facebook (c. 2007), when I was describing the goals of Facebook Platform (an area I oversaw) Bill Gates yelled at me/us. His quote has stuck with me to this day: “This isn’t a platform. A platform is where the collective sum of revenues of the participants exceeds those of the platform itself.” Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the tokenmaxxing circle jerk.

I’d like to view all files and directories in the working directory, ideally with a tree view similar to Cursor or VS Code. That would be game-changing. It would also help to edit files directly in that view with clear save confirmation (e.g., a save button or visual indicator). Sometimes I’m unsure if changes took effect, so I open Cursor or another editor to verify.

i get some anxiety not using the smartest-available model/settings. but sometimes i dont mind if it's really slow. i wonder if we should focus more on a price/speed tradeoff relative to a price/intelligence tradeoff.

@benshandebiao This is the healthy use case. Agents are best at getting you unstuck when the next step is concrete. Vague procrastination just becomes vague agent output.

如果你在拖延一件事情,可以尝试把这件事情发给 OpenClaw、Codex App 或者 Claude Code 让他帮你开个头,然后一起走下去
