Gabriel pulling Pablo down and Trossard grabbing his other arm so he has 0 leverage to jump is a foul. This was a criminal decision. 3-4 fouls all on West Ham players.

What this shows is (and it's evident from real-time experience as well) that the VAR and refs already make up their minds regarding certain situations, and they then spend the next 5 minutes justifying them. This itself contradicts their 'clear and obvious error' VAR mandate, as you don't need 5 minutes for clear and obvious errors. The clip begins with "Possible foul on the keeper," and they got so tunnel-visioned into willing it into existence that they disregarded everything else happening in the box. Incompetence rather than corruption, imo.

Just listened to the VAR audio from Arsenal vs West Ham. Feel sorry for the ref tbh. They review it, highlight two issues, then get him over, don't show him the full incidents and don't show it in order. Based on what he saw he makes the right call

VAR forgot to draw a freakin' offside line in a title race that Arsenal lost by 2 points. And all of a sudden, everyone is crying as if other teams never got these advantages. Whereas, it was a legitimate foul on Raya. Such hypocrisy, much wow.

Mate if the ball had gone to them then it would be looked at differently. It went directly to Rayas hands and that’s all that matters as this led to the goal. It’s that simple. Strip away all the bullshit and you’re left with Raya being fouled by two players and it led to a goal. End of.

The audio of the decision around the disallowed goal from Sunday has only confirmed what everyone thought The referee and the VAR CHOSE to ignore the blatant fouls on West Ham players in order to find a reason to disallow the goal It’s corruption and West Ham must continue to expose it

The thing about the Mic'd up video is I had West Ham fans tell me for two days that Trossard "caused" Pablo to grab Raya - honestly, he's barely holding him - and Pablo clearly places his arm & grabs Raya. You can also see in the back view - Raya can't jump. Well done VAR
