Stanford’s Ebuka Okorie has had an electric freshman season for Stanford, bolstering his play yet again as the season goes on. Okorie is averaging: 23.3 PPG 3.7 RPG 3.6 APG while shooting 46% FG, 36.3% 3PT (5.8 3PA) 83.5% FT (7.4 FTA) Ebuka’s got the most on-ball juice in the ACC. It's really impressive to see him consistently breakdown defenses so effortlessly, high feel, an extremely quick deceptive lead guard. Fantastic talent evaluation by Stanford's staff and more important, putting him in all of the right positions to succeed. Okorie's been every bit of first round good in this draft. Notable after coming into this season with just one HM offer.

@SheedinATL This isn’t a normal year tho. Sure that draft strategy is solid if you pick mid to late 1st but it’s exaggerated because this freshman class has 10+ guys who look like obvious lotto picks already at 18-19 yrs old and he’s 23.5 years old. Hed back half of lotto in a lot of drafts.

yeah Yaxel Lendeborg outside of the lotto on mainstream boards despite being the most productive player on the best team in college basketball just proves that drafting older players is a major market inefficiency that's ought to be exploited terrible senior lotto picks like Corey Kispert or Chris Duarte really did the number on some NBA teams, those guys don't prove that you shouldn't draft seniors in the lotto or t10, all they prove is poor judgement in those particular cases as there's examples of late 1st/2nd round/undrafted college seniors who return lotto or t10 value

@SpursReporter I’d be trying to facilitate trades as a way to trade up in terms of draft assets in this class. Super deep and talented. The pieces they need are going to be there. 4 picks already but 3 are 2nd round. Move some up or get an even better pick than the hawks.

An MRI in Los Angeles this morning revealed Dylan Harper has a left calf strain but no ligament damage, a Spurs spokesman said. He is day to day but will be out through at least this weekend.

@Clemson_Addict @CoachSamz It’s on swinney at this point though. By not using portal, handing scholarships to guys who don’t really deserve it, the coaches son/daniel high scholarship fund was all fine and dandy as long as you win. But that’s created an actual lack of elite comp and fire.

Dabo really does have to reset his whole process: No more waiting until junior year to offer. The "coveted, elusive" Clemson offer doesnt hold the weight it use to. By junior year these elite prospects have already been courted and offered insane money by programs doing a lot better than us. No more former players on staff. Literally get rid of every single one of them. Even the ones that this is the first year they are on staff. Love what they have done for the university as players, love the lifelong family bonds Dabo has built. But this isnt an internship or a make a wish college coaching gig. Let them do what Willy Korn has done. Earn their chops at smaller schools and work their way up the coaching ranks. There is zero reason Clemson should have ever given a coaching job to anyone who has never been a coach before. We were at the peak of CFB with the likes of Bama and Ohio State for a decade, and you hired staff as if we were Coastal Carolina and it has destroyed the program from within. Use the damn portal. And I mean really use it. The three hardest workers on the team this year- all transfers. HS recruiting should always be the base of your team, but use the portal to bring it guys to compete. Light a fire under your guys that each week, they are competing for their spot. And if they arent performing, they know that you will bring someone in to get the job done. Players have said they love Dabo bc he is invested in their development and they dont have to worry about him giving up on them, and I love that, but a biproduct of it has been they have gotten too comfortable and lazy. And its evident on tape with the lack of effort. Make the shift. Tony did it at UVA. BV does it at OU. Both of them are looking a lot better than Clemson right now. I get your wanting guys to buy in and earn their NIL, but that isnt CFB anymore. It's a bidding war. Whether you like it or not. I would much rather us swing big and miss... Then keep trying the exact same thing year after year and we are steadily getting worse and worse. It is one thing if we go from being a 13-15 win team to a 10-12 win team. But we are on track to be a 6-6 or 7-5 team and thats if everything goes our way from here on out the rest of 2025. That is unacceptable at a place like Clemson. Tommy Bowden was that but he didnt have anywhere near the resources, roster, or buy in from the school like Dabo has now. Higher coaches from other P4s and up and coming G5 coaches. What you did with Riley- even though it didnt work out- we should be doing that across the board. Dabo has all the tools at his disposal to be elite. His inability to understand that what you did 2011-2021 doesnt mean shit now.

How did Clemson get so bad w the same players as last season + recruits +transfers? Staff is almost the same too…. When Miami, lsu and these other powerhouses blew up it was because they lost a bunch of players or had sanctions/lost a key coach. None of that happened here…

4-5 wins is in play for Clemson this year…. Crazy, how is this the same guys as last year?
