@mattiaferraresi @TheFP It’s actually insane seeing people on here side with Trump and then proceed to the tell the pope to “stay in his lane” lmao
English

The Trump administration summoned a Vatican diplomat to the Pentagon, and during the tense meeting a U.S. official invoked the Avignon Papacy. On July 4, the American pope will be in Lampedusa -- he didn't pick that date by accident. @TheFP

@celtic_jaime There is a difference between being a Celtic fan and a Celtic employee. At the beginning of their career and sometimes at the end emotion might play a part but the rest of the time its a job. The magic of being a fan changes when its your source of income and pays your bills.
English

See these mad Celtic fans growing up and some turning out professional footballers who end up playing down south or abroad on big 💰 for years then come towards end of the Careers but still can play at a good level you would think that some of them would say look am going to end my career now at the club I love & supported as a kid now, but the don’t the still chase the big 💰 because the greedy and it’s never ever enough for them 🍀

@bobdishy @caughtoffside I think that is the 1979 Man Utd team... Got beat 6-0 by Ipswich... Hadn't won the league since 1967 and would go on another 13 years before winning it again. They then went onto be the worlds biggest club at the time and Englands most successful one... With no anglo saxons :)

🚨 Pep Guardiola hits back at Jim Ratcliffe: "We treat immigrants or people that come from other countries like they are the ones causing problems for our country. It's a big problem because the fact I am Catalan and you are British? What influence did we have on where we were born?
"Everyone wants to have a better life, everyone wants to have a better future for themselves and their families. Sometimes the opportunities are where you are born and sometimes it is in the place where you go.
"The colour of your skin or the place where you were born don't make a difference.
"Most people run away from their countries for the problems that are in their country, not because they want to leave.
"The more we embrace other cultures, truly embrace it, then we will have a better society - I do not have any doubts about that."

@GaryLineker Congratulation on a wonderful footballing career and a wonderful punditry career and i hope your retirement is as long and as joy filled. On top of this your humanitarian views and calls for justice prove that you truly are a wonderful human being. Hail Hail YNWA

@Mish_K_ Italian and German people, culture, language existed long before the states of Italy and Germany. People don't need a nation state to exist, they exist despite it.
English

@TEnglishSport Not surprising really because most Rangers fans I know are currently all rugger or golf fans again and the ones not deserting certainly want to talk about anything else other than Rangers.
English

Every comment on this interview with the Rangers manager has come from Celtic folk 😂

I sat down with Philippe Clement yesterday to hear what life was like in the maelstrom. He didn’t strike me as a guy who was cowed by the challenge… bbc.co.uk/sport/football…

@mlivingston88 Better strap yourself in Marc i feel 2025 is going to be a mad one 😂

@NormanBrennan @MayorofLondon So you are saying you didn't have violence on the streets of London 30-40 years ago :) Really!!!
English

@lucarfb_1910 My antifascist Celtic supporting relatives died fighting the nazis. They neither supported nor turned a blind eye to genocide. It seems some people never learn from history.

Well what a week. On Tuesday I passed my viva, so thanks must go to my supervisors @ProfTonyPollard and @andrewhoskins for getting me through my PhD.
Any tweets since Tuesday and for the next few days, are due to an empty head!

Thank you to my wonderful amazing sons, daughter Aamna, grandchildren, sisters and nephews and neices for making me feel so loved at a time when I so desperately needed it. Truly blessed to have these people in my life
Asim Rabbani@asimrabbani
Lovely night celebrating this man’s birthday, the most amazing, loving and caring person I know and the man who taught me all about the Celtic @irfanrabbani62 💚🍀

@AdamDabrowski99 @richardosman He has successfully cajoled you (and me) into liking his post 😂 Well played Mr Osman… Well played 🙂

@JohnG58 @yogijunior3 Gone are the days when I have heard of most of our new signings and most of the ones I do know like McCarthy etc don’t exactly work out. My granda was a much wiser man than me and he always said judge them in the hoops and give them time to settle. Good advice rarely taken 🙂

@yogijunior3 Pity you didn’t have the 5th option in there, John. “Let’s wait and see.” 😂🍀🍀HH

@rangerstaxcase @celticrumours They don’t want Collum, they don’t want Glancy… they no longer like Walsh… I can see a pattern here 😂

@davidfeintuch @JeanFind Maybe a history book would help you and Tawhidi David. The Romans destroyed the temple in AD 70 and expelled the Jews. When Omar conquered Jerusalem 538 years later the temple mount was a rubbish heap. He built the 2 mosques and invited Jews back to the city.

@Byoussef Go listen to “Love me, I’m a Liberal” on You tube. Phil Och’s sung about the mindset you talk about 60 years ago and it’s as relevant today.

"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."
Shallow understanding from people of goodwill is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.”
Martin Luther King Junior 16 April 1963

@RealScottRitter Of course you are right Scott but Israel doesn’t care. The US has their back and has green lighted and covers, by veto and by bombs, everything they want to do.
