@mattiaferraresi @TheFP It’s actually insane seeing people on here side with Trump and then proceed to the tell the pope to “stay in his lane” lmao

The Trump administration summoned a Vatican diplomat to the Pentagon, and during the tense meeting a U.S. official invoked the Avignon Papacy. On July 4, the American pope will be in Lampedusa -- he didn't pick that date by accident. @TheFP thefp.com/p/why-the-vati…

@celtic_jaime There is a difference between being a Celtic fan and a Celtic employee. At the beginning of their career and sometimes at the end emotion might play a part but the rest of the time its a job. The magic of being a fan changes when its your source of income and pays your bills.

@bobdishy @caughtoffside I think that is the 1979 Man Utd team... Got beat 6-0 by Ipswich... Hadn't won the league since 1967 and would go on another 13 years before winning it again. They then went onto be the worlds biggest club at the time and Englands most successful one... With no anglo saxons :)

🚨 Pep Guardiola hits back at Jim Ratcliffe: "We treat immigrants or people that come from other countries like they are the ones causing problems for our country. It's a big problem because the fact I am Catalan and you are British? What influence did we have on where we were born? "Everyone wants to have a better life, everyone wants to have a better future for themselves and their families. Sometimes the opportunities are where you are born and sometimes it is in the place where you go. "The colour of your skin or the place where you were born don't make a difference. "Most people run away from their countries for the problems that are in their country, not because they want to leave. "The more we embrace other cultures, truly embrace it, then we will have a better society - I do not have any doubts about that."

@Mish_K_ Italian and German people, culture, language existed long before the states of Italy and Germany. People don't need a nation state to exist, they exist despite it.

@TEnglishSport Not surprising really because most Rangers fans I know are currently all rugger or golf fans again and the ones not deserting certainly want to talk about anything else other than Rangers.

@lucarfb_1910 My antifascist Celtic supporting relatives died fighting the nazis. They neither supported nor turned a blind eye to genocide. It seems some people never learn from history.

@JohnG58 @yogijunior3 Gone are the days when I have heard of most of our new signings and most of the ones I do know like McCarthy etc don’t exactly work out. My granda was a much wiser man than me and he always said judge them in the hoops and give them time to settle. Good advice rarely taken 🙂

@davidfeintuch @JeanFind Maybe a history book would help you and Tawhidi David. The Romans destroyed the temple in AD 70 and expelled the Jews. When Omar conquered Jerusalem 538 years later the temple mount was a rubbish heap. He built the 2 mosques and invited Jews back to the city.

"First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season." Shallow understanding from people of goodwill is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.” Martin Luther King Junior 16 April 1963

@RealScottRitter Of course you are right Scott but Israel doesn’t care. The US has their back and has green lighted and covers, by veto and by bombs, everything they want to do.

If the attacker cannot positively identify a lawful target, the law of war instructs that no bombing operation can take place. The burden is on the attacker to exercise discretion and caution, and to act reasonably and honestly in the exercise of their responsibilities.

Israel claims that a senior Hamas leader was in the Jabalia Refugee Camp when it was struck by Israeli bombs. Israel claims that the deaths of Palestinian refugees in the camp are collateral damage permitted under the law of war. Israel is wrong.
