I am only for this idea if it brings about funding for what Melbourne clearly needs: a 10,000-15,000 seat rectangular football venue within walking distance of the CBD. A place that could host so much football content across A-League, Championship and NPL in a right-sized venue.

Realistically, Eze was going to be 3rd choice going into next season. If Maddison even gets back to 80% of where he was, he is the better player. Kulusevski is the better player. Akliouche would be a smart, better signing with UCL experience and a higher ceiling.
