Because I gave birth to 8 and 9 pound babies and probably have an umbilical hernia because moms do cool hard shit like that and wear it proudly.

English

@MariSmith141 @sandicheekspv Go Mari..I wish I could watch you compete in the olympics....still rooting for you and watching you on telly. xxx Manjula and Alfie the terrier. (My dog knows who you are and watches with me).

Good morning my QUEENS! I think it’s time we bring this one back: let’s SEE THOSE FIGHT FACES!
Sandi Morris, OLY🇺🇸@sandicheekspv
SO many female athletes are afraid to post pics they look “ugly” in while competing. SORRY, BUT WE ARE BUSY KICKING BUTT. I am DONE caring about whether people think I’m pretty while I do my thing 💪🏼 Ladies, RT if you’re with me! And show me ur fight faces!

@James_Athletics @TrustCooker On the face of it, I see what you mean. But part of making money from elite sport is dueto the paying spectators. Ie these ‘elite’ athletes depend on supporters(indirectly). Having amateur competition(+profits made) must just be lower on the scale of importance inthe gov’s eyes😞
English

@MariSmith141 @TrustCooker I don't disagree with the last point, but I hope UKA have gone back and said "this is a bit silly". The govt rules published yesterday suggest one could go and watch the Indoor Champs with 999 others, but not compete (if they don't fit "elite" definition). That's madness.
English

@James_Athletics @TrustCooker Atm more netballers can access the track at Birmingham than runners. I have no access to track/ gym facilities despite making a major final last year. I think at the moment you have to just enjoy what is allowed and understand that organisers can only stick their necks out so far
English

@TrustCooker surely a well organised / limited numbers indoor competition for non-elite is no less safe than an elite competition with 1000 spectators? it makes no sense to me
English

@jgault13 @letsrundotcom The British University calendar has this clash every year, will be very interesting to see how US college teams approach.
Have definitely seen athletes succeed at both even in close proximity.

The NCAA plans to hold its 2021 indoor track AND cross country champs across a 4-day span in March. Why it was scheduled that way, and how top programs are adjusting:

@AthleticsWeekly Just tights. Shorts over tights look a bit ridiculous. Best option are Ronhill Tracksters, though.

@GentLaura @alexeykelbosch @BhamTrackElite In this example though my name is being used to advertise their brand which is also wrong. We need to advertise @BrumTalentHub / @UBSport as they fund all of our S&C, physio, training camps💛❤️💙
English

@alexeykelbosch @BhamTrackElite In the boys defence they did set up and then build this brand themselves. It wasn’t handed to them! They’ve not stopped girls joining but we should expect to bring something to it not just take!! 🙂
