Where do you think data providers get their data? And just FYI, I’ve worked as a polling place volunteer as well as for a federal representative campaign where I had access to “official” data. Totals never decrease. Tabulators and poll pads are connected to the internet and are vulnerable to hacking. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.

That is inaccurate. Vote tallies are not reported all willy nilly and updated/changed later. Vote tallies are reported locally, the information is then verified/matched against official election sources (at the county level), the verified data is then shared and disseminated through credible news outlets like AP. If vote totals are shown to DECREASE on live tv then there was vote flipping at the local level and then the new total was reported. Just as we saw happen in 2020.
