Some people should feel nothing but shame for trying to pressure and corner this man instead of standing with him.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has grown into his office without losing his humanity. Power changed his responsibilities — not his character.
True stature is rare. Not everyone has it.

“No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion.
People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love.” ― #NelsonMandela

Around the world, people living with and affected by HIV still face stigma and discrimination in healthcare centers and communities.
This blocks access to HIV services and put lives at risk.
Putting #PeopleFirst is the only path to #ZeroDiscrimination.

@OliviaEnos @HudsonInstitute @AlexisMrachek @McCainInstitute Fantastic new report on the need for the Radios, notably to counter misinformation and influence of #China and #Russia. A bipartisan consensus in Congress on #democracy, fighting authoritarianism & inexpensive but vital public diplomacy and #softpower should protect them!

🚨New @HudsonInstitute report🚨 Very proud of the report I co-authored with @AlexisMrachek @McCainInstitute on the importance of RFA & RFE/RL as the U.S. seeks to counter #China, #Russia, & other authoritarians in the information domain. hudson.org/human-rights/c…

Malaria remains a deadly global health challenge. It kills around 600,000 people every year - nearly 75% are children under 5. We can’t let that happen. Now is the time to stay united to save millions of lives & build a healthier, safer, fairer future for all. #WorldMalariaDay

There is an aggressor: Russia.
There is a victim: Ukraine.
We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so.
By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others.
Thank you to all who have helped and continue to do so. And respect to those who have been fighting since the beginning—because they are fighting for their dignity, their independence, their children, and the security of Europe.

In two decades, The @GlobalFund partnership has made remarkable progress against HIV, TB and malaria, reducing the combined death rate from the three diseases by 63%. With continued support, the Global Fund partnership can avert 400 million infections or cases of these deadly diseases between 2027-2029. #HealthierFuture

"AIDS-related deaths in the next 5 years will increase by 6.3 million"
UNAIDS Executive Director, Winnie Byanyima, projects how many more AIDS-related deaths will happen, if US foreign aid funding isn't restored after the announced 90 day pause.

i’ve never seen canadians—politically left, right and center—so angry with the united states as right now.
many americans don’t care or know why it matters. but long term the united states benefits greatly from deep and trusted international relationships. and none have been closer (and closely integrated) than us-canada.

One month ago today, Assad fled Syria.
The first international flight just landed in Damascus, life is returning, after tyranny.
The west thinks dictators are stronger than they are.
Syria is proof that regimes like Assad and Putin can fall and good things happen when they do.
God bless Syria and Ukraine 🇺🇦
