5 yrs fixed rate is 4.64% from CIBC I will be more than happy to see the rate less than 3% in next 2 years Canada is in recession per capita, newly added population is keeping the gdp number positive. But average people are financially in pain

So a Mortgage Broker I know shared this. Only common denominator is the rates are coming down.. BUT the market is eerily quiet. The buyers may be looking but they aren’t buying. Many are just waiting and watching.
