@SharpFootball I think Love is a great player, but at some point you have to stop the other team. I know everyone says "players over positions", but this defense was historically awful. I think it's a tough call...

@whodeyupdates I was excited about Matt Lee...it felt like he was next in line. Injuries were a part of it, I guess.

@Martinwillybear Very odd for sure. I like the versatility potential of Jalen Rivers, and I still believe in Javon Foster (maybe foolishly?), but the OL room just lacks any actual stability at depth positions.

Their only true backup center is Jacob Bayer, who was signed to the practice squad in November of last year. They lose their only OLman with legitimate guard / center flexibility (Lucas Patrick), and they essentially don't have a swing tackle. I don’t know what the plan is.

@whodeyupdates They finally get the starting OL right, but now have absolutely zero depth. They just can't fully complete the process.

The #Bengals have 10 total OL-man on roster after waiving Matt Lee. • 5 of them have played 2 years or less • Cody Ford is essentially the lone swing tackle • Jacob Bayer, signed in November in 2025 is the lone backup center Jalen Rivers cross-training guard & center (?)

@dwills76 @LndsPatterson I agree. I just saw a lot of people saying Dugger takes Downs off the table. Which I think is crazy.

@Martinwillybear @LndsPatterson Dugger is a one year deal and not expected to be a starter. If Downs is drafted he will be a starter by next season if not this season. Dugger in now way gets in the way of drafting Downs

Being that Dexter needs an an extension I’d offer 41 and 72 , restructure burrow and chase to be able to extend Dexter. Let’s see if the bengals are gonna make that move that puts them over the hump #bengals
