This is occurring because the white evangelical church — even in its diminished state — still preached enough Gospel to create a critical mass of opposition to the Spirit of the Age in this country that exists nowhere else in the West. For we will fail to wield our most devastating weapon against our enemies — the Word of God. And we will wield nebulous “whiteness” instead. You cannot beat an enemy you don’t really know. I’ve been white for 52 years now, married to a white woman for almost 30 years, and raised three well adjusted Jesus loving white children to adulthood, and I have no idea what whiteness is. I never once told me my kids “we do this because we’re white” unless it was a joke. All the whiteness in the world didn’t save the UK, Germany, or any other place in the world. Because the war on whites is really a war on Christianity, which explains why with every Jaden Ivey or Tony Dungy or Clarence Thomas dissenter they suddenly cease being black and roped in with we whites. The Enemy will tell you his true motives if you’ll just listen. I promise you, if you attempt to fight this evil on whiteness you cannot win. First of all, that is evil’s playing field and it is the home team. You’re only feeding its godless sectarian premise. But second, and most importantly, Almighty God has no interest in glorifying your whiteness but His Word, which calls all to repentance in Christ Jesus. This is why Jesus is Lord and Christ is King. Through one man’s sin we fell, but through another’s sacrifice we rise. And what has arisen from Christ is the most powerful and demographically diverse movement in all human history. We are absolutely permitted to want our own traditions, a culture inhabited by people who share them, and the preservation of our own way of life. As much as I love my Nigerian brothers being savagely persecuted, as neighbors I have more in common with an unchurched cynical Vietnam vet. That’s why I fight alongside all those efforts. I’m for an all out immigration moratorium. An American is an American citizen. We are not a nation of immigrants, but a nation of citizens. America should be for Americans, not foreigners. The Great Commission isn’t mass migrations but missionaries. It’s not Replacement Theory but regeneration. However, never forget we will not save a country based on God-given rights by another form of godlessness. Beelzebub cannot cast out Beelzebub. Your choices aren’t “more whiteness and less diversity.” Your choices are “Christ or chaos.” Worldview, not demographics, is destiny. Holy Week is the ultimate reminder cultural nostalgia fails, but whoever is willing to suffer the most for what they believe wins.
