The same neighborhood where this tent is pitched. Technology followed a deflation curve. Computing power per dollar doubles roughly every two years. Storage costs collapse. Screens get cheaper. A device that cost $3,000 in 2010 costs $49 in 2026 and fits in your palm. The projector in this tent is almost certainly better than anything a mid-tier hotel offered 10 years ago. Housing followed an inflation curve. LA rents are up 65% over the last decade. The county has 72,308 people experiencing homelessness.
