Think ETF flows for $HYPE are going to massively surprise to the upside. Have had multiple friends in Tradfi call me and tell me they think owning HYPE here is more asymmetric than owning Semiconductor stocks for now. The REAL rally is just beginning.

Quick update on HYPE: We were initially positioned to reload sub-$17 to get ready for next cycle. But the framework has now materially changed. From a game theory perspective, the magnitude of the upside deviation should ultimately be mirrored by the magnitude of the downside reversion. In other words, the more reflexive and overextended the move becomes on the way up, the higher the probability of a violent overshoot to the downside. Our base case now is that HYPE cannot just revisit the $17-20 range anymore at this stage sadly, it will ultimately overextend well below $10 before establishing a true long-term cycle low. More importantly, the entire structure has now shifted. The $17-20 region is no longer looking like the optimal reload zone for the next expansion phase. Instead, there’s an increasing probability that this range ultimately becomes the distribution ceiling of the next cycle itself. We’ve seen this exact reflexive pattern play out before, EOS during the post-2018 unwind, LINK after its macro euphoric expansion. What once looked like “value accumulation” eventually became lower-high exit liquidity in the following cycle. Very interesting. So essentially, remove your HYPE orders around $17. That level is too obvious now after the expansion, which means you will get front-run by the market before any meaningful reversal materializes. We will keep you posted once HYPE forms a new bottom sub $10 (probably around $7-8) We will find the bottom together, and there should be a nice long to do, until the relief back to $17-20. Not guaranted that HYPE bounces back to $20, but highly highly likely This sould be an easy 2-2.5x at least And with leverage, we could probably pull a 10x Please be patient, we will revert in a few months For now, short only

I was navigating through Hyperview to check the $HYPE short liquidation levels at risk and noticed a cluster of 10 wallets with the exact same position size ($1.1M). $HYPE was bought 1 month and 20 days ago on every wallet and hedged immediately after. It’s someone using PM (probably farming it for S3 🤣). He borrowed against his $1M worth of $HYPE spot and shorted roughly the same amount of $HYPE. He could also be doing this just to farm funding, but it’s funny because I did the exact same thing for the first 2-3 months after PM went live to farm it, and back then I had like 30-40% of the total supplied on $HYPE and $BTC spread across multiple wallets lmao

The dip coming a bit sooner than expected. I nibbled a bit here at $55.5, but would ideally like the opportunity to add big in the low 50's for $HYPE. IF we get it. Which idk if we will or not Of course, price wont move up in a straight line but the fundamentals have never been better and price discovery likely continues over the next few weeks. It just depends on your time frame. Some people think about where hype might be in 3-5 years, and some people think about 3-5 days. I think about both. if price is down even 1%, i wonder if my idea is invalidated, how could i be so stupid. if its up, I know im a fucking genius. Today I have been both, stupid, and a genius. I also began a small position in $LIT. Down 20% on the day, would expect a decent recovery there. Not that these two are remotely the same thing.

@based16z Sellers might get a little relief over the 3 day weekend with some big unstaking and ETF’s / Purr offline. *IF* we see the low 50’s imo a good place to add more risk

The way to save Ethereum: The community needs to create an organization that's economically aligned with Ethereum and accountable to it. The EF now holds less than 0.1% of all ETH. There is no flow of Ethereum staking or fee revenues to it. If we want to get Ethereum back to winning: - create an organisation with credible funding, minimum $1b as a start. That's very reasonable for an ecosystem with $250b market cap - find a leader who is competent and wants to fight - make it accountable: a board of people who want ETH to go up, and a charter that holds the org accountable to it - fund it permanently: A significant amount of staking revenue needs to go to it. A governance mechanism that can adjust it (also part of accountability). Very hard to imagine now, but I think this is the only way (and it will probably happen, but it might take a long time before it is consensus).

“why would you buy $lit over $hype?” you use both products. both are great. then you look at valuations and realize how much room $lit has relative to $hype. that’s it. you don’t buy $lit because it’s “better” than $hype. you buy it because it’s a good product as well.

Been diving into Lighter (ethereum:0x232ce3bd40fcd6f80f3d55a522d03f25df784ee2 ). If Ethereum wants to keep perpetuals volume on-chain, this is the killer app it needs. Here is the thesis on why it works, current metrics, and how it co-exists with Hyperliquid and isn't just a "beta" play: The Metrics -Volume: ~$112M daily -Valuation: ~$345M market cap -Position: Top 5 DeFi trading volume globally The Architecture We need infrastructure that proves Ethereum can handle high-frequency trading. Lighter is an app-specific zk-rollup built for central limit order book (CLOB) trading. -Execution: Off-chain matching with millisecond latency. -Settlement: Trustless settlement on Ethereum via zk-SNARKs and blob data. -Custody: If the sequencer fails, users can reconstruct their accounts and force an exit directly on L1. Co-existing with Hyperliquid The derivatives market is large enough for multiple architectures. -Hyperliquid (Sovereign L1): Optimizes for raw speed and independent consensus. Requires trusting a standalone validator set. -Lighter (Ethereum L2): Optimizes for Ethereum alignment. Sacrifices sovereign control to inherit Ethereum's security budget. Hyperliquid proved the demand for fast, on-chain order books. Lighter takes that product-market fit and anchors it to Ethereum. Both models will capture significant volume as traders diversify their counterparty risk profiles.
