A ski-masked gunman emerged from behind a light beacon and murdered an 18-year-old woman who was gathered with friends this morning at Loyola Beach. The victim’s social media indicates she was a student at Loyola University. The attack appears random. cwbchicago.com/2026/03/gunman…

Okay! First, I'm wondering just how desperate someone would be to listen to a woman with parchment skin on ANY sort of beauty advice. 😳 Second, she mentions an ex-husband! That's the other thing I find hard to believe...that any man would be THAT desperate to marry her! 🤯 Granted, some of us guys aren't anything to write home about. But I can only see someone marrying her at gunpoint. And if it was me, the ink on the marriage certificate wouldn't be dry until I was gone, either by divorce, abandonment, or poison (me). I mean, can you imagine listening to that voice forever in a marriage?! 😱 Heaven help the rest of the nursing home residents! 🙏

Influencers should have a minimum age requirement of 75. I’m tired of skincare advice from someone who still has baby teeth and a ring light. Give me a woman who’s buried two husbands, owns three cardigans, and doesn’t care if you like her. That’s who I trust with a recommendation.

This is totally insane. A war correspondent just received death threats from online gamblers who wanted him to change his reporting on an Iranian missile strike so they could collect a payout. One bettor had $900,000 riding on the outcome. He told the journalist he knew where he lived and who his family members were.  This is what prediction markets on life and death actually look like in practice. This is exactly why I introduced the DEATH BETS Act with Senator @AdamSchiff. The DEATH BETS Act would ban contracts on assassinations, deaths of world leaders, and acts of war on platforms like Polymarket. This story shows exactly why that matters.  When you let people place million-dollar bets on whether a missile kills someone, you create a financial incentive to threaten journalists, manipulate information, and profit from human suffering. washingtonpost.com/technology/202…

NEWS: The man who rammed his explosives-laden truck into a Michigan synagogue today was named Ayman Ghazaleh, according to a source familiar with the situation. Ghazaleh posted photos overnight of his family members, including young children, who were killed in a recent Israeli attack on the town of Mashghara, Lebanon. This is a developing story.

It’s actually hilarious and so revealing that the Western left thinks a 3 year plus dry streak is something that should be made fun of, or even abnormal or uncool. It actually happens to blue collar workers who they claim to support a lot, not that they’d know

Someone just told me about this woman on Instagram who genuinely thought "JFC" stood for "just for clarification." She'd been dropping it casually in professional emails for years. It instantly reminded me of my own mom, who for the longest time was convinced "LOL" meant "lots of love." I swear to God, she once commented on a Facebook post where someone had shared tragic news: "So sorry for your loss. LOL."

My only question when it pertains to all of this, is if the people in charge or the person in charge of writing this is a far right conservative. Seems like a very bias story to be honest. Fraud is fraud, and that needs to be handled, but this seems like a political vendetta to me.

Minnesota Staff Fraud Reporting Commentary
Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on, hoping for a partnership in stopping fraud but no, we got the opposite response. Tim Walz systematically retaliated against whistleblowers using monitoring, threats, repression, and did his best to discredit fraud reports. Instead of partnership, we got the full weight of retaliation by Tim Walz, certain DFL members and an indifferent mainstream media. It’s scary, isolating and left us wondering who we can turn to. In addition to retaliating against whistleblower, Tim Walz disempowered the Office of the Legislative Auditor, allowing agencies to disregard their audit findings and guidance. Media and politicians supporting Tim Walz or the DFL-agenda attacked whistleblowers who were trying to raise red flags on fraudulent activities. This is a cascade of systemic failures leading up to Tim Walz. Agency leaders appointed by Tim Walz willfully disregarded rules and laws to keep fraud reports quiet - even to the extent of threatening families of whistleblowers. These same leaders are not qualified for their jobs, instead getting leadership jobs via Tim Walz’s friendship so state government were left floundering. DFL lawmakers refused to acknowledge fraud and deflected any serious conversation to stop fraud. Biased mainstream media such as WCCO and MPR showed absolutely no interest in covering fraud happening in our own state. Programs, especially in behavioral health and disability services were built without any guardrails against fraud, all in an attempt to extract more funding from legislature and the federal government. As staff, we firsthand witnessed and observed fraud happening yet we were shutdown, reassigned and told to keep quiet. Sometimes more. Leadership did not want to appear to discriminate against certain communities and were unwilling to take action, such as stopping fraud, that would have an adverse impact on their image. To date, no single agency leader has been held responsible for their role in fraud whether it’s Shireen Gandhi, Jess Geil, Jodi Harpstead, Natasha Merz, Eric Grumdahl or others. It is a structure created and maintained by Tim Walz who has created an environment of inter-related agencies and institutions including the media - that help foster fraud through retaliation and turning a blind eye in exchange for political gain in the form of high power agency leadership jobs or other perks. Fundamentally, Tim Walz is dishonest, lacks ethics and integrity, has poor leadership abilities, and has never taken any accountability for his role in fraud. Instead, Tim Walz deflects by blaming national politics for his own failings and distracts the public with inveterate lying. These lies include his reference of a budget surplus under his tenure. Fact is, Minnesota never had a surplus, we had been given federal ARPA funds that were conflated as surplus money otherwise, we’d be in a deficit. And those ARPA funds, which were meant to be temporary funds were used to create more leadership positions for Tim Walz “buddies.” As such, we can’t fight fraud in Minnesota alone hence why we’re appealing to the federal levels of government. We need all the help we can get as Tim Walz’s agency leaders have upped their brazen approach in covering up their knowledge of fraud. We are grateful to numerous solid politicians (esp the Fraud Committee) and media outlets who are trying to halt fraud. We are also grateful to other whistleblowers who are bravely stepping up. Thank You NY Times for bringing the plight of Minnesota to the national stage. @nytimes

A damning quote on Tim Walz’s failure to stop the fraud consuming Minnesota. "No one was doing anything about the red flags," he said. "It was like someone was stealing money from the cookie jar and they kept refilling it." WOW.

🔥HATE CRIME🔥 A man with many prior charges including arson was arrested 12 times since 2017 was set free once again by one of these leftist judges! Lawrence Reed allegedly poured a flammable liquid on a 26-year-old white woman and set her on fire onboard a CTA train this week is now facing federal terrorism charges. According to charging documents filed in the U.S. District Court’s Northern District of Illinois, 50-year-old Lawrence Reed is being charged with a federal count of committing a terrorist attack on a mass transit system. He is accused of setting a 26-year-old white woman on fire as she rode on a CTA Blue Line train in the Loop on Monday night, with the woman hospitalized in critical condition due to the severe injuries she suffered. According to the charging document, Chicago police were called to the Clark/Lake train stop just before 9:30 p.m. Monday for reports of a woman who had been on fire at the location. When they arrived, they found that victim, who had suffered severe burns to her face and body. When police got onboard a Blue Line train at the station, they found a partially melted bottle, a lighter, flammable liquid and other evidence on a seat where the woman had been positioned onboard the train, according to the charging documents. Surveillance footage from the train showed the woman sitting inside a car, and Reed seated on the opposite side of the train. At some point he allegedly got up and approached her. He then poured the liquid on her and attempted to ignite the liquid. She fought him off and ran to the front of the train. He then ignited the bottle and dropped it on the floor. Reed picked up the bottle, approached her and lit her on fire. The woman got off the train at Clark and Lake. Reed exited the train car and walked away. Bystanders were able to help put the fire out, and paramedics rushed her to a nearby hospital. According to surveillance footage obtained during the investigation, Chicago police believe Reed filled the bottle with gasoline at a gas station in the 3300 block of West Harrison, approximately 20 minutes before the attack. He was seen boarding the train at Kedzie and Congress shortly thereafter, police said. When Reed was taken into custody on Tuesday morning, police allege he was wearing the same clothing he had been shown wearing on the surveillance footage. He also had a burn wound on his right hand, and had in his possession a CTA card that had allowed him access to the Blue Line train at Kedzie and Congress on Monday night, the charging document said. There was no immediate word when the suspect in the case would face his next court hearing. This has to stop and the judge who set him free should be charged as well, what do you guys think?
