Our Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) conference took place last week and you can view our event highlights video here: youtu.be/vjs3fgH8BEA. The conference was a great opportunity for a great opportunity for colleagues to come together and learn more about CISM and the important role that it plays in supporting staff through difficult or complex experiences in their day-to-day work.

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the @CombinedNHS Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Conference representing @DSFireUpdates. It was great to see what @ClaireADurrant & @cambsfrs have implemented to support colleagues following exposure to Critical Incidents! 👏

Sunday night I attended an extremely difficult & complex fire within a mid-terraced property in Newton Abbot. 8 crews from @DSFireUpdates worked tirelessly through the night to tackle the fire & successfully stop it spreading. @jesip999 applied with @DC_Police to safely resolve🔥

@_IanAdams @DSFireUpdates @DC_Police @dansearle79 Thanks @_IanAdams It was an extremely challenging incident, but thankfully no injuries and the fire was contained to the building of origin.

A challenging evening last night as @DSFireUpdates crews tackled a chip shop fire in Newton Abbot. Well done to those in attendance. 👏🚒🔥💦

Last night I had the pleasure of attending @DSFireUpdates Buckfastleigh Fire Station to celebrate FF Dave Woods 70th Birthday!🥳 Dave continually passes all required courses to remain operational & is an inspiration to many! Is he the oldest fully operational FF in the country?🤔

@nickg0804 Of course the shorts were on!! Sun was out again for the festival, so had to embrace it!!☀️

Excellent training exercise this weekend with @DSFireUpdates Blue Watches from Torquay & Paignton, utilising @jesip999 working with colleagues from @TorbayCRT @RNLITorbay @HARTSWASF @DC_Police practising rescue techniques with a casualty trapped in sand with an incoming tide!

@GlastoTopTips @samfendermusic @liamgallagher @beanstoast @samfendermusic was amazing in 2022!! Would love to see him again and headline next year!!
