@leclercsletters @Fred__18 I’m sorry but this is complete and utter BS! Do you seriously think that Ferrari would allow other parties access to such sensitive data!?? That’s absolutely crazy and to write something like this Fred loses all credibility. This is the pinnacle of motorsport, not karting.

according to federico albano (@Fred__18), charles put together his own team (not ferrari related) to study the data and the new power unit. "i think leclerc's approach, personally... as far as i know, he organized a team to study the data separately, to comb through every detail - a team at his home, not necessarily ferrari's - comb through every detail from these power units, i find his approach... charles is still young, he'd have some justification for being tired of never having the winning car because i think we can all agree he has the talent to be champion - him having such an in-depth reading instead is something i think is extremely serious and professional."

Hamilton had a meltdown when Mercedes had to finally sign GR , but only because his contract was almost up and even Christian Horner played Toto like a fiddle saying Red Bull would go after George 😂 Then we had that typical Hamilton nonsense that he would now be George's mentor 😂 George then proceeded to put Lewis in his back pocket. 🤣

Can’t expect much in terms of context from these lot but here’s what really happened: Bottas clearly had some kind of issue in the 1st stint (was doing high 38s on the Hards when others were in the high 37s). I’d suspect due to Hard tyres + high fuel + cold = massive graining which is what we saw. Perez’s medium stint was in the mid-high 37s around half a second quicker than the Astons behind both on Mediums. Bottas’ medium stint was lapping in the mid-high 36s whereas the Astons in the low 37s both on Mediums. Applying fuel-correction (0.03s) once again confirms Bottas and Perez being equal on the Mediums. On the Hards however, Bottas was 2-3s slower than anyone else which is clearly not representative pace. 1 week ago, Bottas finished 20s ahead and outqualified Checo by 1.5s but nothing was said. Focusing on drivers in the slowest car for a team who aren’t at the level of any other is a new level of cope and damage control. Using unrepresentative laps 2-3s off the pace just to push a silly agenda about Hamilton is an all-time low

“Bottas” foi considerado por muito tempo como um segundo piloto de elite, e diziam que Pérez (para desmerecer Verstappen) não servia pra ser motorista de ônibus. Vamos observar o desenrolar da situação. #F1

@FormulAnalyst @FormulaPace Ironically If Hamilton had not vetoed Russell joining, George may have just been able to help enough to win Lewis the championship. I mean George even crashed at Imola for Williams to help Lewis escape from a certain DNF.

Two George Russell moments have been explained by Mercedes: - He hit his harvest limit prematurely at the restart, resulting in him losing position to Hamilton. - An unexpected superclip while trying to save energy to attempt a pass on Hamilton. #F1 #JapaneseGP

@FormulaPace Nope Lewis has been slower all weekend!! From the very first lap on track. Some 3/4 tenths. Qualifying gap flattered Lewis yesterday. He just can’t drive a car to the limit like Charles can. The snaps zap his confidence whereas Charles drives through it.

Hamilton’s had a strong 1st stint, seemed like he brought the tyre in well and built a nice offset. The 2nd stint however was not good - perhaps his restart was overly aggressive after passing Russell and trying to get Piastri alongside various deployment issues. With a tyre that has zero deg, taking too much from the tyre early on has a larger negative impact. Compared to if the SC never came out he’d have been able to run his own race as he did in Melbourne and focus on the tyre, something that probably helped Norris and Leclerc being able to do some laps before the SC and not take too much from the tyre early

@Matt_Lecointe @DukeOfPaducah1 @The__RA2511 He doesn't he had 2(25,26) + 1( +1 is for a team to decide if they want to keep him, if they don't want to they won't). As for Bearman just an unlucky qualy session, he has scored the most point's since last year in the midfield. And Ferrari won't wait until somebody else ge him

So I think it’s due time we review Hamilton’s 2022 season and compare it to a particular someone’s season thus far 🤔

P6 is a little disappointing for Lewis, but Charles had him beat so far, comfortably about 3 tenths, but managed to close the gap at the end.

@brakeboosted Both Lewis and Charles trading purple sector 1’s!! It’s all in the power unit!!!! If you can go faster on the straights you can save the tyres on the corners on a race run which is what Mercedes do!

Just worth noting the McLarens starts this season have been much better than the Mercs. The track is narrow without many overtaking opportunities. This might very well be an ideal scenario for Mercedes.
