Most voted question IS FAIR to ask! If you bought FSD in 2021 for $10K and Elon promising HW3 would get full unsupervised. Here we are in 2026 and HW3 owners are still waiting for the upgrade path Tesla “owes them.” They are rightly frustrated and tired of this? $tsla

@niccruzpatane i’d be happy with at least some cursory update on the status of V 14 lite. unsupervised is a crapshoot, let’s be real. And that includes AI4, AI5, or AI15. believe it when you see it.

Elon has answered this question before. Via Q4 2024 Earnings Call: "We are going to have to upgrade Hardware 3 for people who bought FSD. That’s the honest answer. It’s going to be painful and difficult but that’s what we’re going to have to do." Tesla hasn’t forgot about HW3 Tesla customers.

Estaba pensando en cambiar mi actual Tesla Model Y Legacy por el nuevo Juniper, principalmente por el cambio HW3 a HW4 y las otras mejoras pero no lo voy a hacer definitivamente. Sabiendo que en poco tiempo va a llegar HW5 además de posibles mejoras y/o cambio de modelo en un futuro no muy lejano además de la incertidumbre de que pasará con el HW3 en cuanto al FSD no es viable ni lógico un cambio actualmente. Además mi actual Legacy (Long Range RWD) apenas tiene 50.000km sin un solo fallo y funcionando perfectamente. Lo más lógico: esperar. La tecnología avanza muy rápido como para ir cambiando tan pronto

@brandenflasch Until fiber is cut by someone digging or a homeless guy thinking it’s a copper line. Yeah it doesn’t make sense. I had both.. and there’s no discernible difference between the two. Stayed with Starlink

Clavicular planned this walk off. He’s done this exact move in other interviews. He’s ended the last several of his interviews with the walk off. He knows it gets engagement and discussion (clearly) and it drives traffic to both parties. It’s a money move.

Imagine your iPhone can’t be updated to iOS 26 due to hardware limitations, and Apple says they will do a iOS 26 lite version. Yeah, Apple would never. Tesla said they are working on FSD v14 lite. No other company does this.
