Imagine if the US Navy had rust on the side of an aircraft carrier, and then some defense lobbyist posted a whiny tweet about how the poor Pentagon needs more funding to paint their ships. Imagine the reaction. That's what this is. A multibillion dollar agency can't even handle the basics because of its own mismanagement, despite having a budget larger than many entire states. And they shouldn't get a penny more until they make serious changes to how they handle our money.

I’m sure they spent this money on many projects that help people….New trains/buses across the board, The Q line extension, ensuring their employees are paid well enough across the board, station upgrades, updated technology to help riders and so much more. Also as time passes the price of everything increases and they have to keep up with it

The MTA has been crying since the 80s, and the fare increase in the 90s and 00s were to address almost all of the problems we have now. And, in all of those years and increases, nothing materially was done even with the increases.

The House voted to censure Rep. Al Green—a man who has spent his career fighting for justice and the people he serves. Why? Because he caused good trouble. We will stand up to anyone—even the President of the United States.
