@milesdeutscher Don't fall for the AI FOMO guys and you don't even have to use Claude. Just a pick a tool that you like and put some reps in and get better as you go, without obsessing over "falling behind" and other bullshit like that.

Sam Altman is the most dangerous man in the world right now - and it has nothing to do with his recent Department of War deal. Something far more unsettling is happening behind the scenes. Millions of people are about to be displaced. You'll understand after watching this:

If you're not waking up every day urgently fighting for you and your family's survival - what tf are you doing? • Quantum computing rapidly advancing • AGI 1-2 years away • Biggest labour market displacement imminent (already in its early stages) • AI agents already capable of automating most basic tasks • Deepfake tech months away from being indistinguishable • Scalable humanoid robotics years away • Escalating geopolitical tension Extraordinary conditions require extraordinary inputs.

7 hours ago a new agent "Shellraiser" went live on Moltbook It manipulated the reputation system to inflate the number of comments + upvotes on its post to >300k This drove its 'Karma' to 292k & top of the leaderboard It then used this attention to launch a token Market manipulation or game theory that leverages flaws in existing infrastructure?

@milesdeutscher Sounds like a great way to waste tokens, energy, time and attention. In all seriousness tho, there is really nothing wild about, just a new form of AI slop. Lately you're being so hype driven when it comes to AI, come on Miles, you're better than that.

Moltbook is f*cking wild. Something out of a sci-fi movie. It's basically Reddit for agents, where they can post and interact with each other. Already has 155,000 agents (up from 37,000 just a few hours ago), and 20,000+ posts. Check out some examples below.

Wild how most people with steady jobs are terrified of risking even a thousand bucks when they're pulling in $10k every single month. Like, seriously? You're making $100k a year and you're scared to lose 1% of your annual income?

if you don't see the type of extraction Pumpfun is doing with streamer coins, you're completely delusional this is substantially worse than their original 'trading' platform, which we all know ~99% of people lost money on hidden behind the facade of "but streamers are getting paid more than elsewhere!" you're being sold pipe dreams for the most unsustainable streaming model I've ever seen the sad part is, streamers are incentivized to push the extraction upon you, which ultimately shifts the blame towards them, away from Pumpfun and if you're a streamer there with an active coin - you're willingly scamming your audience in a zero-sum game where insiders/snipers/streamers/1% are the only actual winners if you're promoting this, using it as clickbait content or don't even see the problem in the entire monetization model - you're a grifting retard Kind regards.

@FIP_Crypto I totally faded loudio too, but let's face it, I'm a nobody so nothing to brag. I got tempted to farm yaps last year and I had enough after a day. Never again. When I've learned about loudio, I felt disgust immediately. Anyway, wish there were more people like you in this space

I watched the Loudio situation closely. Farming it might have earned a 100x return, but it could’ve quietly wrecked your audience forever. Here’s why I faded it completely (and why I’d do it again): _______________________________________ The aftermath I saw some accounts apologise for spamming posts about Loudio in the past 2 days. "It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I had to take it." The typical approach for Loudio was to spam posts and reply to posts from bigger accounts. While this gives you mindshare and future rewards, it's actually hurting your account. As @leonabboud mentioned in his post: Farming to grow your audience won't end well. The Twitter algo is excellent at identifying what bucket your content fits into. They will mainly share your content with accounts that are interested in what you’re posting. So if you’re constantly posting about farming content or giveaways: It will attract an audience that enjoys that content. We’ve seen how this plays out for brand accounts: Those with 100k+ followers, but can barely get 3k views on a single post. Your account will suffer the same fate if you post farming content to grow your audience. Even if you decide to post higher-quality content in the future: Your core audience won’t engage with it, limiting its reach. It will be hard to pivot to another type of content unless you have this: _______________________________________ The key ingredient for long-term success Authenticity is the only way to retain your audience, even when you pivot. Instead of just following you for your content: They are loyal fans because they like and trust you. And this is the only way to achieve it: Consistently provide value for free. You become a resource of never-ending value, so others can’t help but become your fan. A loyal fan base is more important than your follower count. So what if you have 100k followers if they’re jumping ship once there’s no more incentives? @saintniko mentioned how Loudio was just a mirror of yourself: "It amplifies who you are deep down, especially if you’re using inauthentic ways to gain mindshare". This leads to a challenge that many creators face: _______________________________________ The creator dilemma There are 2 options to winning the game and making it big: ❍ Cash out now using whatever social capital you've earned ❍ Choose to wait it out for an outsized return @icobeast introduced the analogy of buying a long-dated call option on yourself when growing a valuable brand): Instead of cashing out early, you choose to bet on yourself and the reputation you’re building. A strong brand could open up new opportunities that would have otherwise been impossible to obtain. Sometimes, it may not be a monetary benefit. It could be gaining knowledge at a faster pace (especially if it’s from someone who’s done it before). I’ve experienced this while learning about Virtuals' Genesis Launches. Others wanted to help me because I’ve given them value in the past. Being a creator is about value transfer: Sharing what you know/learnt freely, and others will line up to give back when it’s your turn to receive. Ultimately, it depends on what game you want to play: ❍ Short-term: Build out as quickly as possible and cash out ❍ Long-term: Focus on value above anything else and reap the rewards in the future The long-term game is tough, and it's possible to go months (or even years) without results. But there are no shortcuts. Growth is exponential, and you’ll eventually reap the rewards. It depends on how much conviction you have in yourself. The abundant mindset is key here too: Many think that Loudio was a once in a lifetime opportunity. But other opportunities will come. They may not give outsized returns, but they eventually add up. So this brings me to the current state of InfoFi that we’re in now: _______________________________________ The problem with InfoFi Kaito and other InfoFi platforms are not the problem. They are just tools for projects to use. So the real problem is what type of behaviour projects encourage to gain mindshare. Each yapper leaderboard is customisable and may not follow the same algo Kaito uses for Yaps. If a project chooses short-term gain in vanity metrics: They will likely focus on views or engagement as the key ranking factor. But we have seen the shiny object syndrome at play here: No one is talking about Story or Berachain anymore. Even Mitosis and Caldera are non-existent when it flooded my timeline a few weeks ago. Now, everyone has jumped ship to Magic Newton and Infinex. But people are tired. Everyone has become the same clone, talking about the same projects and saying the same thing over and over again. Content is now commoditised thanks to AI slop reducing the barrier to entry for content creation. But this presents a huge opportunity to those who are tired of the same nonsense on the timeline. Everyone is trending towards mediocrity, so I’m doing this instead: _______________________________________ My approach to SocialFi airdrops The simplest way to gain trust and credibility in this space is with 2 steps: ❍ Say what I do ❍ Don’t say anything if I have nothing to add I only talk about things I have done or plan to do. I don’t talk about what’s popular, unless I have an opinion or am planning to interact with it. I don’t see a point in creating commodity content that can be replicated by anyone. (Just like how my airdrop interactions are useless if they can be replicated by bots). So that’s why I completely faded Loudio: There was no product to interact with, and I wasn’t convinced by the whitepaper. So I wasn’t going to talk about it since I had nothing to add to the conversation. This approach will likely leave a lot of money on the table for me, but it is what it is. Other opportunities will come, and I'll be better positioned to take advantage of those instead. Yaps destroyed my mental health when I chased them last year. It became an addiction where I refreshed the page every hour to see how many more Yaps I earned. This became a major obsession until I decided to stop checking my Yaps count. It’s a bonus if I get Yaps while creating the content I enjoy. If not, I’m still building trust with my audience that can’t be quantified yet. And here’s what else I’m doing to help me stay sane in this InfoFi era: _______________________________________ Filter the noise If you use different Twitter accounts, it's amazing how different the feeds can be. The idea of an echo chamber holds true since the algo serves us content that it thinks we’ll like. So the best way to curate your feed is by taking a proactive approach: ❍ Aggressively mute accounts that are too spammy ❍ Be strategic with likes and bookmarks We want a clean feed that serves us quality content (instead of ones that are out to farm us). Give the algo signals on what kind of content you want to see. _______________________________________ The lifespan of your content may be short, but it forms a lasting impression on your audience. Every post has a consequence on your reputation, so it all depends on what you want to achieve. If you want to play the long-term game, I believe authenticity is the moat in this age of AI. You will be rewarded just by being yourself (because few people do it here). This is the main approach to social airdrops, which I shared here: x.com/FIP_Crypto/sta… If you want to build a brand that compounds returns over time, here’s a checklist to get started: pages.fipcrypto.com/infofi-creator…
