Happy Memorial Day to federal judges applying settled law, against whom Trump is encouraging stochastic terrorism. In a functioning democracy this would produce a response, but Trump is right that neither a majority of Congress nor a majority of SCOTUS will do anything about it.

@MikeIsaac I'm fine with my school putting up cheap calculator holders in every classroom and making students put phones in them during class. I am not at all fine with the school spending thousands for some ridiculous locked pouch scam that will cause all kinds of problems.

fascinating and to me this is negated by the idea that having phones on, say, a hanging holder on the wall of the classroom is not a barrier here but i could see lack of control over this threat being a trauma for parents who desperately want to feel they can do *something*
