Before today, Oregon's 2nd best win was Northwestern. They opened the season with Montana State. Fans say this stuff, it's fine really. But Lanning knows better, it's intellectually dishonest pandering at its worst. Oregon has a good team this year, no need for this nonsense.

Unpopular opinion: Stop contributing to your 401K, even if your company matches. Put the extra money into Bitcoin after every paycheck instead. If anyone has done the math on this, would love to see it.

Agreed the math is flawed but designed to show the tradeoff is way lopsided. If you get a 401K deposit matched before it’s taxed it’s hard to recoup that advantage if you decide to take the taxed funds up front, not to mention those matched funds are in the stock market which generally goes up over time

Today we took my son to St Andrews where the sport of golf, my favorite sport, all began ~600 years ago. The Town and The Old Course totally overwhelmed me with so many of my favorite golf memories from year’s past, it reminded me how many great times I’ve harvested over the years with family and friends, and excited me for the future memories on the course still to come Foremost I thought of my dad and two grandpas who taught me to play when I was very young, and the hundreds of hours we spent together on the course growing up. That will always be my favorite 4some ❤️ I had Thomas take his very first swing of the club at The Old Course, that way he can always say he got started where It all got started. I don’t know if he’ll enjoy golf as much as I do, but I’ll get him out there early and often just like my dad and grandpas did with me Cheers to the greatest game ever invented

Headed to play Pebble Beach for the 2nd time. This is the most excited I’ve been to play golf in a while. I was always told Pebble is overrated but I would completely disagree. The views, history, and conditions make it the best in the world. Thoughts on Pebble from people who have played it?

Not saying I agree with what he did, only pointing out its not rocket science figuring out why he stayed silent

@Max__Seeley @JasonSobelGolf One interview, right away after round 1 or before round 2 could have put the driver issue to rest. It also would have given the public more info about this driver testing. Being silent only fuels more questions. Rory needs to grow a pair.

He’d recently been to an F1 race and saw how many interviews the drivers give, both directly before and after the races. There was some clarity, he told us, that golfers should hold themselves to similar standards, especially the superstars. Personally, I’ve never been one to get annoyed if a player decides not to speak with us after a round. I don’t need to hear from each player every day. If Rory elects to take a day or two off when he plays poorly, that should be his prerogative. Tiger also did that, though infrequently. But Tiger never went four tournament days without speaking afterward. He knew that was his responsibility as a face of the game. Rory knows that, too. In fact, he’s said it himself.
