The Transatlantic slave trade may be the largest long distance slave trade, but did you know that the largest number of slaves, by far, never went to the United States like so many people think? The vast majority of slaves went to Brazil. So will Brazil be paying the vast amount of reparations? 2. The Arab Slave trade was larger by number of slaves, with significantly higher numbers of people who died as a result, especially by castration of male African slaves. And it’s also the longest running slave trade that began 1300 years ago, and is STILL ongoing. That’s right… the Arabs still have an active slave trade. Think Qatar. Who do you think built all those stadiums for their World Cup? If the truth about the slave trade was as important as the revisionist history about it, the Arab world would collapse today.
