I cannot STAND people still using lattice modifier, and people saying my original image was too pixelated, enjoy this revamped version with everything everyone wanted it to do better and easier to use. Please do not use lattice modifier, just use geometry nodes. It's what its for

Did you know? There was a game where you could play Go Fish with Mario! Mario's Game Gallery is a collection of board games, in which you play with Mario. He talks to you, playing Checkers, Go Fish, Dominoes, Backgammon, Yacht. Most of games can be played for Yoshis or Koopas - tribes of animals.

@MarioBrothBlog If i had to make a Layperson's guess, I imagine it's so the animators could map generic all-characters animations to their models so they could animate once for all models instead of 2 specialized versions. That'd be my guess

Previously, I have posted about how in Mario Super Sluggers, Boo and King Boo have unused leg bones in their models, despite not having any legs. Now, it has additionally been discovered that Piranha Plants have the same leg bones as well. The reason for this is still unknown.

@davepl1968 As a HS 💻 teacher I see this too! Grew up around my dad who got a 386 as a wedding gift. He was the sysop of the first BBS in the city back in 1990. I learned CLI and Win3.0 before my 9th bday. You and him would've been great friends. Now I get to show your vids to my students😁

I taught the elementary kids' computer lab at the local elementary school for about ten years. By about fourth grade, the kids vary widely in PC ability. You'll have one kid porting Doom and one kid crying because CAPS LOCK is on and he can't log in. One kid trying to eat toner while another fixes the projector. A lot of that is comfort - you can tell some kids use a PC at home a great deal while others have seemingly no exposure. Does it matter? No idea! I understand limiting screen time and so on, but sometimes kids who genuinely have a knack for it are being held back by good intentions! When I sold my company, we donated all the extra PCs and monitors to the school... a couple of dozen Dell Dimension 4200s and so on. Absolutely required for any mid-2000s computer lab!

@CAMELCASTOff Had a guy like that in our district: a lying scumbag, forged nearly 1k fake reserves for GTA:Vice City ("top store in the region"). DM was in on it. My SM made a 2hr whistleblower call to corp. They actually frog marched them both out. Later, that liar got a job as the MS rep.

Story time. I worked at GameStop for 11 years, starting in 2007. My store manager was a 500 lb man. I called him Egg. Egg pretty much was the worst person I've ever met. He would schedule you during your mothers funeral and laugh about it. Anyway. The worst thing Egg did was leave the store at 1pm (and stay clocked in stealing time). He would go to his buddy's house and have sex with hookers. This was in rural Alabama so you can imagine the quality of hooker. He came back at 5pm to clock out. Eventually all the employees at the store including myself complained anonymously to upper management about it. A few weeks later our District Manager came to the store "have a talk with Egg." He told Egg that he can no longer leave the store and steal time. He wasn't fired because our store ranked so well in sales metrics.(pro cards, reserves, etc). Egg decided the best way to move forward was to BRING HOOKERS TO THE STORE. He would walk them in the front door, which children in the store, and go into the back room to proceed. Right next to our products in the store room. After a few weeks, we made another anonymous tip. The REGIONAL director came to the store this time to investigate. Luckily, all the security tapes had been erased by our DM and Egg. No more questions were asked. Egg was not fired(because he ranked so well in metrics). He continued to do this hooker nonsense. I was promoted to store manager soon after and leave to go to a different store. Egg worked at GameStop for another 10 years.

I was so annoyed by this tweet that I spent the last week writing an entire children's book called The Insignificant Speck, which starts out telling this Reddit Atheist story ("You're just a speck, you're not special, nothing means anything"), but then takes a left turn halfway through, exploring the mathematical impossibility of life, how miraculous it is that anything exists at all, how an infinite sequence of stuff had to happen to produce you, how you are imbued with all of that magic, how the human experience is ablaze with the majesty and wonder of its Creator, and how your life has cosmic importance and is weighted with tremendous moral responsibility, and you owe your ancestors and your progeny the honor of living well and fully. It's the children's picture book I want my kids to read more than any other. A based "Oh, the Places You'll Go" for our retarded age. Anyone know any illustrators who'd want to collaborate on this?
