@bradybuzz Since citizens are among the customers of the gun industry, deregulation of the firearms industry does, in fact, protect 2A rights.

The Trump admin has made a disastrous move to weaken ATF firearm regulations & policies. These changes do nothing to protect 2A rights, only serve the special interests of the gun industry. You cannot claim to be tough on crime while taking actions proven to increase violence.

@badiabloal @gunpolicy If you don't care about NFA items, what exactly do you take issue with currently? The ATF doesn't have the authority to outright repeal the NFA, FFA, FOPA, or Brady Bill, so I'm not sure what else you'd be looking for them to do via rule changes.

The ATF has posted summaries of the new regulations, which include: 1) Repeal Biden's pistol brace rule 2) Revising "engaged in the business" rule 3) Revising machine gun definition in response to Cargill decision 4) Remove requirement for FFLs to post info about Youth Handgun Safety Act 5) Revising 4473 form, including allowing electronic forms and increase the time NICS checks remain valid 6) Allow FFLs to keep electronic records 7) Replace indefinite retention of 4473s with definite time periods of 20 or 30 years 8) Allow “Non-Over-the-Counter” firearm sales by FFLs to residents of the same state 9) Repeal interstate NFA transport notice requirement for trips under 365 days, with all others no longer requiring approval before transport 10) Joint NFA registration for married couples 11) Remove NFA CLEO notification 12) Clarify that "common, reasonably necessary activities during travel" are covered by FOPA transportation protection 13) Allow import of dual-use frames, receivers, and barrels 14) Clarify that "training rounds" are not ammunition 15) Eliminate engraving requirement for people making NFA firearms out of existing serialized guns 16) "Clarify that a person receiving assistance in only one functional area (such as financial management) would not, on that basis alone, be considered prohibited" under mental health disqualifier 17) Requiring biological sex on ATF Forms 18) Clarify when a transaction is a straw purchase 19) Formally define "willfully" for firearms violations 20) "Remove the list of former Soviet countries from which ATF currently denies applications to permanently import most firearms and ammunition, retaining only the Russian Federation" atf.gov/rules-and-regu…

Immigration brings out strong passions. Good. It should. Because it affects every single American. But before echoing the noise, look at the facts. The Dignity Act is clear: NO path to citizenship. NO federal benefits. Criminals get deported- NO MERCY. Instead, you come forward, you admit you broke the law, you pay the price. This is NOT a free pass… It is accountability. You’ve seen the facts. Now get it right.

@EdKrassen Because that doesn't stop fraud from occurring at the polls. If fraudsters know literally every person in the state with an ID is registered to vote but they will not be expected to produce that registrant's ID at the polls, that will lead to MORE fraud, not less.

Explain this, all you pro-Voter ID advocates: Why don't we automatically register every eligible voter, and then have state databases that store their IDs virtually? That way, every legal voter can vote, and every person can be confirmed to be a legal voter without needing a physical ID. This would solve virtually every problem, but for some reason I don't think Republicans would support this because they know when more people vote, they usually lose elections.

@CoolBeens789 @BarbourBurner Because there’s a trade off between mobility and firepower. The Corps felt the M27 IAR offered enough suppression capability while keeping the SAR mobile. The Army evidently favors the increased suppression of a belt-fed at the expense of mobility. Two different roles/doctrines.

@BarbourBurner mind you the HK416 fills both the riflemen and saw roles within the same company, with it being modifiable to fit both needs, so then why did the army need two different weapons? pad the SiG investment portfolios?

Amnesty is a free pass. It is what exists now. With the DIGNITY Act, you come forward, you face the law, you pass background checks, you pay what you owe, and you earn your place or you get deported. Criminals? Gone. 
American workers? Protected. Our national security depends on it. Our economy demands it. Our communities need it. And yes, our faith calls us to do this the right way, with order and accountability. That’s enforcement. That’s DIGNITY. Calling this amnesty is a lie that keeps a broken system alive and Americans paying the price.

@llamalaikum They screen missileers to prevent this from happening. Their duty is to act on the orders of the president. The reason there are two (it's actually four iirk) guys w keys is to make sure one of them doesn't go rogue and launch a nuke, not to facilitate conscientious objection.

Donald can't launch nukes on his own. There is a process and it ends with 2 random guys with keys. It only takes one guy to prevent disaster. If you're one of the guys with a key, don't do it. Disobey the order.

Gavin Newsom's wife is awesome. She's the perfect feminist. Not only because she's constantly out babbling about how men are evil. @Bratt_world @ContactReport_ Reportedly, the plane that was sent to recover everyone is not capable of transporting a MH-6. There was no way to get the MH-6s out given the C-130s were non-operational.
