The last couple of weeks have been an absolute firestorm of action to get the Market Structure bill passed. While @BankingGOP clears its logjam (thank you @SenatorTimScott!), congrats are in order to @SenateAgGOP and Chairman @JohnBoozman for advancing the Senate Agriculture Committee’s market structure bill out of committee today. As I’ve said before, clarity is better than chaos. The legislative process can be messy and complex, but it is 100% necessary to have clarity for this and future generations of crypto entrepreneurs, builders, and users as this technology becomes increasingly ingrained into our global financial infrastructure.

@TorontoStar Higher costs, weaker economy, struggling industries, shrinking middle class, rising debt, and Canadians paying the price, while leadership spreads nonsense instead of solutions. #patandmat

What has really happened in Canada over the last 10 years? Cost of living out of control. Housing prices and rents at historic highs. Groceries up, fuel up, utilities up. Carbon tax stacked with tax on tax. One of the weakest economic performances in the G7. Productivity falling while government spending explodes. Small businesses squeezed, red tape, and tariffs. Manufacturing and resource industries weakened by bad policy and uncertainty. Middle class purchasing power shrinking year after year. Young Canadians locked out of home ownership. Healthcare wait times getting longer, not shorter. Public debt rising with little to show for it. Crime rates and criminal activity increasing, leaving communities less safe. This isn’t bad luck. It’s the result of policy choices and mismanagement

It’s alarming to see this kind of advice shared with your audience, it’s misinformed and dangerous. A 100% tariff from the U.S. would devastate Canadian industries: over 75% of our exports go to the U.S., including automotive, manufacturing, and agriculture. If the U.S. pressures allies to cut ties with us, the economic impact multiplies exponentially. Instead of escalating conflict, the focus should be on smart negotiations and securing fair trade deals. Canada’s future depends on cooperation, not confrontation. China is not our ally; our priority must be strengthening ties with trusted partners. FYI USMCA Article 32.10 the infamous “poison pill.” It lets the US terminate the full agreement and boot Canada out if we sign an FTA with a “non-market country” like China #Canada #Trade #Economy #USCanadaRelations #Infrastructure #SmartPolicy

@PierrePoilievre “Buy Canadian” cannot replace lost U.S. markets, and China is not an alternative. We need you to act to protect Canada by strengthening our relationship with our largest customer, do not let this government provoking trade retaliation. 100% Tarriff destroy us.

Canadians can’t afford to live — and government is a big part of the problem. Taxes, fees, and red tape make everything cost more. Cut waste. Cut bureaucracy. Let hard work pay off again.

Prime Minister Carney, leadership is not about emotional reactions or slogans like “we will build Canadian.” This is not a high school debate it is economic reality. Canada cannot replace the U.S. market by willpower. About 75% of Canada’s total exports go to the United States, supporting millions of Canadian jobs across manufacturing, automotive, energy, agriculture, and services. No domestic demand strategy can absorb that scale in any term. A financial or trade confrontation with the U.S. does not “make us stronger” it directly harms Canadian workers, businesses, and investment confidence. As for China: Canada cannot compete with China on finished goods. They manufacture cheaper at home. Our exports to China are limited mainly to raw materials and agricultural products, and even there, China diversifies suppliers aggressively. China represents roughly 4–5% of Canada’s exports, versus the U.S. at 75%. This is not a substitute it’s a risk. Recent global events are also instructive. Even long time U.S. partners ultimately align with the U.S. when strategic pressure rises. Canada will not be rescued by rhetoric or wishful alliances. Strong leadership means: • Surrounding yourself with experienced economic and trade experts • Turning problems into leverage, not escalation • Defending Canadian interests through negotiation, not financial warfare A trade conflict with our largest customer does not punish the U.S. it punishes Canadians first. #Canada #Economy #Trade #CDNPoli #Manufacturing #Jobs #RealityCheck

@YourAnonCentral Canada–U.S. trade moves over $2.5 billion in goods and services every day. Disruptions mean higher costs for businesses, delayed investment, job losses, and higher prices for Canadian families. Trade conflict with our main partner is not strength it’s Canadians paying the bill.

Canada took down the United States at Davos, leading the way for others to confront the US threat: "You cannot live within the lie of mutual benefit through integration when integration becomes the source of your subordination." This is the beginning of the end of the US.

Liberal excuses for food prices don’t add up. U.K., Japan, Germany, Italy, France all face tariffs too, yet their food prices aren't rising as fast as Canada’s. The worst food inflation in the G7 is the cost of Carney’s new and rising carbon taxes and record-breaking deficits. Focus on what we can control at home, like scrapping hidden food taxes: conservative.ca/cpc/stop-taxin…

Your failed approach toward the U.S. is hurting Canadians. The U.S. is our largest partner, taking about 75% of all Canadian exports and supporting millions of Canadian jobs. When relations deteriorate, manufacturing, auto, steel, agriculture, and energy sectors are hit first. Canada and U.S. trade moves over $2.5 billion in goods and services every day. Disruptions mean higher costs for businesses, delayed investment, job losses, and higher prices for Canadian families. Trade conflict with our main partner is not strength, it’s Canadians paying the bill.
