How did the abducted mute and deaf Hindu Minor girl accept Islam? In the small town of Khorwah, district Badin, a 15-year-old girl named Himan, daughter of Hero Kolhi, who was born mute and deaf, had allegedly been abducted for nine days. Her family filed a complaint at the local police station, stating that Ghulam Hussain alias Abu Lonjo, a man involved in drug dealing and other crimes, who is already married and the father of seven daughters, had kidnapped her. Despite this, the police took no action. Yesterday, in front of the Badin Press Club, journalists took a photo showing the mute and deaf girl holding a certificate of conversion to Islam, while Ghulam Hussain alias Abu Lonjo, who appears older than her father, stood beside her holding a marriage certificate. But the question is — how did a mute and deaf girl accept Islam? A girl who has never heard temple bells ring, never heard the call to prayer (Azaan), never spoken a word to call upon her God, and cannot recite the Kalma — how could she possibly have embraced Islam? And how can a marriage at the age of fifteen be considered legal? The IG Sindh, DIG Hyderabad, and SSP Badin should take urgent notice of this injustice.
