⚠️1/28 6 p.m. Update⚠️ MTE is proud to say that after reaching a peak of 23,479 outages on the morning of Sunday, 1/25, we now have around 112 remaining. This incredible work has been hard-earned by our dedicated lineworkers, support crews and the entire team behind the scenes at Middle Tennessee Electric. We can't say thank you enough to our members for the overwhelming patience, support and understanding you have shown us over the past few days. It is an honor to serve you and your amazing communities across Middle Tennessee. This will be our last official update post for Winter Storm Fern restoration efforts and our last video update from MTE President & CEO Chris Jones. A few reminders before we sign off: ➡️Please know that our team will still be closely monitoring social media and responding to as many messages, questions and comments as we can. ➡️ For any member waiting on an electrician to repair damage to the weatherhead, riser pipe or meter base, rest assured that our crews are standing by to reconnect power as soon as necessary repairs are made. ➡️If you are currently one of our members impacted by a single outage, and you have any questions about damage to equipment or power restoration, please call our member support team at 877-777-9020.

@xfinity what is the update in Nashville and Franklin, TN. 29 hours with no internet and cannot get ahold of a human to get an update and time estimate for getting service back. Beyond frustrating not to have a person to speak with. My neighbors with AT&T have had service.

⚠️ 7 pm Update ⚠️ MTE crews are continuing their repair and restoration efforts and will continue their work through the night. However, we’ve learned that TVA has lost a main transmission line serving western Williamson County and this will prevent them from restoring power before morning. Extremely disappointed that @natgeo has permanently discontinued the National Geo Bee. This was a fun and incredible way to excite students about learning.

@GetKahoot I’d love it if teachers could assign a Kahoot challenge and have students login w/school email or their own accounts. Nicknames are fun live, but hard to grade and risk inappropriateness with no accountability. Love Kahoot! Thank you!

#AthleteA has reminded me that as a society we need to better educate ALL adults, and esp. mandatory reporters, about sexual predators. Larry Nasser fit the profile in so many ways, yet I wouldn’t have known that if it weren’t for training I was given as a teacher.
