I see a lot of people say that we no longer have good games, like we used to. These are the last 9 games I played. Absolute BANGERS every last one of them.

@LonelyGoomba It would, but the main mechanic of the game is Wario getting his body altered in many ways. I think it was a the right decision.

If Wario Land 2 came out today there would be SO much controversy that Wario can't die in that game.

Super Mario 64 was too much fun

@PixelCNinja The first Mario Party was the most brutal. You lost a game, and you lost coins.

Some N64 games were a bit meh… but the local multiplayer memories were so good nobody cared. What N64 game created the most chaos in your house? #N64 #RetroGaming

@PixelCNinja It’s a shame, because this game was great and still holds up very well. A perfect kids game.

Wario Land on the Game Boy back in '94. Playing as the greedy git himself with all those new moves and hunting down the treasure felt like a proper fresh take on the formula. One of the strongest original games on the handheld that barely gets mentioned now.

@animathias I feel that game was too smart for me and wasn’t easy to just pick up and play. I think I just surfed around on the water mostly lol.

I loved Mario is Missing for the SNES growing up. I didn't know about the DOS version until much later. It's the original, featuring a ton more content, original arrangements of the classic music, and a few rather unique hand-drawn sprites. It's quite full of charm. #RetroGaming

@chloidc If it’s easy, it’s worthless. Also, the lack of a mainstream monoculture the hype and build up is dead.

Streaming services killed movie nights and made everything bland as hell. Let’s be real, streaming killed actual movie culture. You spend 20 minutes picking something then settle for some bland-ass Netflix original that’s forgettable as hell. Streaming made entertainment “easy,” but it also sucked the soul out.

@HatStackMike Pretty solid list. I have a heart for the underdogs like Super Mario Bros 2 and Sunshine. Both still fun to revisit now and again.
