The more arguments I see against expanding the Playoff have now swayed me into wanting to expand. What’s the alternative? 12 teams in the playoffs, the Pop Tarts Bowl and a bunch of irrelevant bowl games? I’ll take 24 teams in a playoff over that every day of the week

@TimBrando Yes, it fucking is. You’re wrong. The fans don’t want this. It’s completely pointless. There are NEVER 24 teams capable of winning a CFP championship. Even 12 is a stretch. 24 teams would completely change the value of the greatest regular season in all of sports.

Miami lost to SMU and Louisville, that’s on them. Did Miami have a talented enough team to win it all? Yes Did they perform well enough in regular season to ensure they could? Barely. If you expand to 24 all you’re doing is clearing a pathway for top-end teams who get hot are the only teams that can win while devaluing the entire regular season.

You can’t give a single football reason that a playoff game is different than a regular season game. But you give them more weight. It’s silly

You love football so much that teams that lose 3-4 games are still going to get to play for a title. Don’t worry guys those 3 losses mean nothing
