Itay and Hadar Berdichevsky, 30 years old. They hid the ten-month-old twins in the shelter while terrorists broke into their home. They were brutally murdered after fighting fiercely with the terrorists. The babies were left alone for over 12 hours until they were rescued. Imagine the horror. Two terrified parents who tried with all their might to protect their children, who are now orphans. May their memory be a blessing.

The first global temperature data is in for the full month of September. This month was, in my professional opinion as a climate scientist – absolutely gobsmackingly bananas. JRA-55 beat the prior monthly record by over 0.5C, and was around 1.8C warmer than preindutrial levels.

@EDFEnergyEX @EPA @KSLcom The reported national rate. I think this is more the norm than the exception but we won’t know until there is more comprehensive real time monitoring of oil, gas and the waste sector.
