INSURANCE is a total SCAM

Brought my boat to the Dominican Republic as my next cruising grounds. Had dinner at a local cruisers hangout with a ton of US Expats and Canadians. Two 22” pizzas, 2 16 oz draft beers, 2 sodas = $22 USD Gonna be hard to leave this economy.

One of the greatest things in the Bahamas is that ALL beaches are public property up to the high water line. What a wonderful way to share the world. The US could do so much better.

Every day I see more and more of this. Nokomis Beach. Can't park on the side streets on Gaspsrilla Island anymore. I haven't been back there since last August. 😌 Thoughts? (Highly doubt anyone lives right there full time).

@BlondieAtlanta Trade? In George Town Exuma Bahamas last week I paid $7.81 per gallon. The day before it was $6.05. But I just crossed the Tropic of Cancer, so who . . . No trades except the Trade Winds now.

So - I just spent $30 for 5.7 gal. $5.20/gal 😳
