A Swiss hotel once displayed a list of special rules exclusively for Indian guests which I personally saw and was appalled. Today, videos of garba in restaurants, loud conversations in airports, and turning aircraft cabins into picnic spots keep doing the rounds. Even in Davos, an Indian businessman blasted Punjabi music in a club so the whole town could hear it, calling it “soft power” but to everyone’s annoyance. Japan earned global admiration through their courtesy and civic sense. If India wants to be a true global superpower, the world should remember Indians for its excellence, consideration and respect for others. Our civic sense seriously needs to be upgraded.

Arresting an elderly man and using third-degree custody methods over verbal political criticism is completely illegal under Indian law. @dgpup Custodial torture is a direct violation of the right to life under Article 21 of the Constitution. The Supreme Court's landmark D.K. Basu guidelines strictly mandate medical checkups and forbid any physical violence in custody. Furthermore, the Arnesh Kumar judgement prohibits arbitrary arrests for non-violent offences. @Vakeel_Sb @sanjayuvacha The @Uppolice, @adgzonemeerut and @meerutpolice must be held accountable to the rule of law, not political vendettas. @India_NHRC Human rights and legal procedures must be upheld. #RuleOfLaw #HumanRights #CustodialTorture #Accountability @asadowaisi @imshaukatali @syedasimwaqar

The @SuvenduWB gov. hasn’t cancelled the licenses of cow-slaughtering & Beef 🥩 exporting units which are mostly owned by Madwadi Jain business houses. Religion for Hindu leaders is just like a drama to hypnotize the zombified masses

Suvendu Adhikari— Take a bow. Bengal’s first ever unapologetic Hindu CM who didn't indulge in performative secularism. On day of Bakrid, he proudly embraced his own faith and went to ISKCON Temple to seek blessings.

Now that Eid al Adha is over, Hindus and other non Muslims have once again started crying about not seeing women in pictures and videos of crowded mosques. Islam never claimed men and women are identical in roles and responsibilities. Equality means treating everyone exactly the same regardless of differences in nature, obligations and circumstances. Islam believes in justice and equity. It gives people rights and responsibilities according to what suits them best. That is far more logical than forcing artificial sameness on everyone. Our women are not absent because they are less important. They are valued beyond being displayed for public validation. The modern world measures a woman's worth by how visible she is, how exposed she is and how much attention she gets. Islam rejects that mindset completely. We don't need to parade our women around to prove we respect them. A woman praying at home in Islam is rewarded, her modesty is honored and her dignity is protected. There is nothing oppressive about that. Your idea of freedom turns women into products for entertainment, advertising and social validation, then calls it empowerment. We reject your idea of freedom unconditionally. Islam never banned women from mosques either. Women prayed in the mosque during the time of the Prophet (ﷺ). Women taught scholars, narrated hadith, owned businesses and had financial and legal rights centuries before the modern world recognized women as independent individuals. The problem is that non Muslims judge Islam through secular liberal standards and then remain perplexed when Islam refuses to submit to them. We do not need approval from people who redefine morality every few years and call it progress. Islam is not built around pleasing society and our success is not measured by how closely we imitate the modern world. Islam is submission to Allah before anything else and it is measured by obedience to Allah and success in the hereafter. Your criticism is the last thing we Muslims care about. Cry, mourn and beat your chests all you want, your absurd opinions will never influence our religion. InshaAllah.

The Bakrid celebration in Jama Masjid. Can you spot any woman there? Gender equality ends here.... But you won't see any "feminist" speaking on this..

- Media ran campaigns for weeks—incited mobs against Muslims. - Petitions were filed in the Supreme Court to stop sacrifice. - High Courts ordered bans on cattle sacrifice - Govt banned even 5-min prayers outside mosques. That's how Muslims in India celebrated Eid. #EidMubarak

#WATCH | Mumbai, Maharashtra: BJP corporator Priti Satam says, "They are openly carrying out the ritual sacrifice of goats; we are opposing this because such sacrifices cannot legally be performed in public spaces. There is a circular issued by the BMC... We successfully had this practice cancelled last year as well. The police administration and the BMC authorities present here must exercise prudence in their decision-making; these rituals should be conducted only at the specific sites officially allotted for them, not in the open common areas of residential societies... They must strictly adhere to the established rules and regulations... If no action is taken, then all of us will take to the streets."
