@monicajackson_1 @TonyDarby88 @AndyTFE @BrendanPorath It’s like 10% equipment, and 90% the athletes. The bulk of pga players are swinging it faster then John Daly now. And they middle it more then they don’t. Rory hit a 300 yard drive with a club the size of a golf ball. Also lots play mini drivers and are getting 175-180 ball sp

Anyone else remember Cameron Champ mania? His rise coincided with the obsessive shallowing era, which made him even more popular. He managed three PGA Tour wins before losing his card last year.

We have our first Ball Rollback Update in 3 years: The USGA has posted that they are thinking about taking some more time to think. Thoughts? 😄 They left an email. I'm thinking about writing on behalf of 𝕏's replies on this matter.

Great video of the beautiful golf swing of AK by @shot.tracer 🔥👌🏼🙌 For all those lead wrist flexed/face closed disciples here’s an example from the other end of the scale where his lead wrist is extended. As with many great drivers of the ball, that “toe-down” clubface look at the top is conducive with great driving as the player can freewheel without the ball going left. If you think there’s only one way to do it, study that and see how nicely it matches up! 🙌👌🏼👍🔥 The internet guru flexed wrist coaches might have a heart attack watching that!

Classic Golf Swing
Classic Golf Swing@ClassicSwingX·
Taking the club back to the inside is considered a big “no-no” in today’s instruction world. Yet it was standard practice for all of golf’s original champions. If GolfTec had been founded in the 1960s, the model swings they’d be teaching today would be completely different. There is a natural way to swing a golf club—one rooted in rhythm, leverage, and classic motion, not forced positions. If you’d like to learn that motion, pick up my 7-video series on the Classic OTT Swing, or join me at my next Classic Swing Masterclass in Dallas on January 31st. @Mike_kim714 Okay @Mike_kim714 but what about other athletes like myself who need that low spinning ball? My driver club head is 130 cruising. My 7 iron is 102-105 mph swing speed. I need it but can’t get them until years later

One of the myths in golf is that pros get access to better equipment than amateurs. The reality is that some pros have different needs to the avg golfer such as a much lower spinning ball due to super high club head speed. I play the standard prov1x along with a GT2 driver that anyone can buy. If I were to use the left dash or the left dot, I’d shoot higher scores because it spins too little for me. Yes we get certain personalized stuff such as grinds and lines on putters but they are preferences not better.

Three distinct designs for three proven combinations of flight, spin, and feel. ⤵️ ➡️ Pro V1: Mid-trajectory flight, very low long game spin, high short game spin, and a softer feel ➡️ Pro V1x: Higher-trajectory flight, low long game spin with higher short game spin and soft feel ➡️ Pro V1x Left Dash: High-trajectory flight, extremely low long game spin with a firmer feel Not sure which one is right for you? Rory answered a question that we’ve been speculating about for years… What would (insert legend) be if they kept their GHIN? Rory simply… posted some scores this year. Incredible. He’s a +8.7.
