Last election cycle, before becoming Senate Majority Leader, John Thune personally asked me to support Sam Brown in his campaign for the United States Senate. I proudly did, including supporting him financially. Sam Brown is an American war hero who sacrificed greatly for our country, and I have no regrets supporting him. The Spanish government is a terrible partner for the United States and NATO, and it isn't just Trump's opinion. The Biden administration thought the same. Don't forget that. Spain is with the US.
