@michaeljknowles @TrevorSheatz @benshapiro Michael, I gotta say: I have rarely seen more ungracious stubbornness by a public figure. Humble yourself, friend. Pride is deadly. You wronged Trevor and the words you put in his mouth demean his wife, Ashley. It shouldn't be this hard to admit you got this one wrong.

This situation just continues to be more and more disappointing. I'm honestly baffled at the response this has gotten. Are we so chronically online and jaded that we can no longer celebrate the sharing of a testimony? Was the original post weird? Sure. Oversharing? Probably. That doesn't change the fact that we are celebrating a prodigal returning home. Trevor & Ashley's gracious and humble response to the thousands of cruel comments tells me all I need to know. They have the Fruit of the Spirit.

The Daily Wire hosts mock and make fun of @TrevorSheatz for his viral "My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin" tweet. All the while, they show they don't know anything about the situation, or the fact that his wife @AshleySheatz has been sharing her testimony for years- it's been pinned to her profile since 2019- as a testament to God's mercy and lovingkindness.

Onlyfans is responsible for introducing thousands and thousands of young women into online sex work. It is responsible for the destruction of marriages of men and in many cases the financial ruin of families with men spending thousands on girls they'd never meet. Bury the site with it's founder.

When Charlie Kirk was murdered, the aftermath saw people seeking Jesus. Then Candace Owens entered the conversation, and suddenly it became less about Christ and all about conspiracy. The worship faded, and the noise took over. It felt like the beginnings of revival, with hearts turning and eternity in view. And of course, the serpent never wastes a moment. When God starts saving, Satan starts spinning.

Here’s another reminder that the vast majority of Christian conservative influencers are Christian in name only. It’s all a grift to them. Sarah Stock is just another example. They don’t care about living for Jesus. They just want to use His name (in vain) to build their brand, cash their checks, and get invites on podcasts and to fancy dinners and conferences. It’s twisted and evil. Pray she repents.

· God chose Paul · God chose Noah · God chose Isaac · God chose Jacob · God chose David · God chose Moses · God chose Joshua · God chose Abraham · God chose the disciples · God chose the prophets If you chose God it’s only because the Holy Spirit gave you a new heart first. No one seeks after God on their own. “The LORD looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.” -Psalm 14:2–3

Why do big-name Calvinists, like Jeff Durbin engage in apologetics, trying to CONVINCE Mormons & others? If they BELIEVED their Calvinism, they would simply preach the gospel. The elect would receive it & the reprobate would not. So much simpler 😉

@CoreyJMahler So you equate moral worth with looks? Let’s ask the question: is this how Christ viewed those on earth? How did he treat the woman at the well? He did not judge moral worth based on carnal attributes, he said “come, follow me”

Beauty is morally salient. If you believe these two are morally equal, then you are more disordered than Satan himself.

@Truth_matters20 This is a dangerous direction to go in, to completely discount 2000 years of church history, councils and theological leaders. We learn from their wisdom and study of scripture. To deny their value you deny the divinely inspired history of the Christian church

I'm Protestant, but I don't care what Luther said. I'm "Calvinist", but I don't care what Calvin said. I'm a Christian first and foremost, and I only care about what the Bible says. If anything they taught disagrees with Scripture, I'm agreeing with Scripture 100% of the time.

@drkenalford God did not predestinate billions to hell; we did that ourselves. Everyone deserves to go to hell for their sins. Eternal election is a biblical concept teaching that by God's grace, He saves his children from hell and brings them to Himself.

If Calvinism is true, then God has purposefully withheld regeneration and irresistible grace from the majority of mankind, without which no one can believe and be saved. The God of Calvinism predestined billions of people to eternal torment before they were born, and He made sure that His Son did not die for their sins. That same God also decreed their sin, but still holds them accountable for it. What a gross misrepresentation of God! That view of God is shocking to the human conscience! Dave Hunt aptly illustrates how preposterous that theology is: “Should a paraplegic be faulted for failing to become a world-class gymnast, or a man for failing to bear children or to breastfeed the children his wife bears? Absurd! Yet we are told that God’s perfect justice operates in this fashion. Tragically, Calvinism’s misrepresentation of God has caused many to turn away from God as from a monster.” (“What Love Is This?”)

@JackDiven @DrFrankTurek God does not ordain evil; He allows it to exist because of our freewill. Without this, his sovereignty would be limited, meaning he is not all-powerful, or he ordains it, which means he is not all good. Except he is both those things.

If you're going to say evil exists and that people do evil, you have to assume that they have free will.

@Hoopss Saying things like this without any constitutional support or scriptural backing is why we are so divided in society. Christians need to lead with clarity and courage, not fog and vague statements.
