After going through multiple rounds of legal reviews and compliance checks, CeyPay has officially received clearance to enable crypto payments in Sri Lanka with settlement in LKR. We’re now onboarded with Bybit Pay as our second payment partner, and the project is scheduled to go live on 1st January 2026, kicking off the new year with Sri Lanka’s first structured crypto payment rollout. 🟡 For early adoption, Bybit is sponsoring LKR 150,000 worth of POS devices and merchant activation support for businesses joining via the initial batch.
