I recently had the great pleasure to watch a debate between two lifelong climate change scientists with opposing views. No rudeness, plenty of agreement, just what I would expect from true scientists. One is Richard Lindzen (Emeritus professor MIT). youtu.be/gJwayalLpYY?si…

Conservatives were instrumental in bringing net zero legislation into effect. That's the issue. I was a Conservative all my life but no longer. The Conservative party enacted all this legislation, allowing Miliband to do this.

"The government have actively avoided looking for evidence Russia interfered." The Intelligence & Security Committee's Stewart Hosie said the government didn't investigate alleged Russian interference in the Brexit vote, and no one wanted to touch this "with a ten-foot pole". Starmer has done nothing to rectify this situation. Please repost if you want the government to conduct a full scale inquiry into Russian interference in British politics over the last twenty years. Russia is waging a hybrid war against the UK and this government, like its Tory predecessors, is failing to protect us against the political half of that attack.

@ClonesCyclone I have yet to see a fighter really put it on Itauma. For this reason, I'm not getting on this bandwagon just yet. Most of the current heavyweights are well beyond their best so I can't see the acid test for Itauma, and without real opposition, greatness can't happen.

Agree with you Tony, Itauma will be 100% confident that he will blow Hrgovic away BUT he’ll need to be very very fit just in case Filip can withstand the early barrage and drag Moses into the second half of a physically absorbing 12 round contest.
CharleyBurleyTbe@Tonypem

@ClonesCyclone Hopefully the right step up at the right time Barry, need to have that element of risk, a lot like when Shane was bringing Josh Taylor through, Hrgovic is tough but I think Ituama will be too quick for him

Rupert, your Rape Gang Inquiry is a stellar example of what politicians should do but you have absolutely no idea how to run your party. By diluting the right vote, you forced voters to vote for Burnham, to get rid of Starmer.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

Finding the usual insults against Restore Britain members/voters today rather boring. Debate the arguments, argue our policy platform, discuss the wider principles of the party. But arrogantly labelling us ‘racist’ just won’t work. It’s not 2016 anymore. Nobody cares.

Proud to have built a strong, cross-party Parliamentary coalition to fight this all the way. MPs/peers from Independents, LibDems, Tories, Labour, Reform, Restore, (no Greens or SNP so far), determined to protect young children who cannot give informed consent. #StopThePBTrial

Infected blood, Thalidomide, Sodium Valproate - a few ongoing medical scandals, people still fighting for justice and compensation. Imagine being Health Secretary for what, 3 months, and choosing to embrace the future scandal of giving 11 yr old children puberty blocking drugs.

In 1984, left wing economists declared the death of New Zeeland farming when free market reformers scrapped their system of agricultural subsidies and trade protections. But instead of collapsing, the market adapted – and prospered. Stripped of government aid and freed from stifling regulations, farmers innovated rapidly, reduced waste, shifted away from unprofitable products. Heavy reliance on sheep and wool was replaced by highly profitable and diversified dairy operations, viticulture, and horticulture. The reforms turned New Zealand into one of the most hyper-efficient, competitive, and profitable agricultural exporters in the world. The sheep population more than halved, from 70 to 30 million, while productivity jumped by 170%. Contrast that with the European Union’s Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), a EUR 60bn policy which amounts to a massive distortion of the free market, replacing competitive dynamics with heavy-handed state interventionism. A vast subsidy system and protective tariff walls stifle innovation, misallocate resources, and harm consumers. Perversely, subsidies are linked to land ownership and is completely disconnected from production of agricultural produce. Instead of responding to authentic consumer demand, farmers are incentivized to meet bureaucratic criteria such as Crop Rotation Requirements to secure government funding. The system has delayed necessary structural modernization. In a free market, inefficient farms would consolidate or adapt; under the CAP, public money keeps uncompetitive operations afloat. An average EU farm generates between $19 and $28 of output per hour of labour compared to New Zeeland’s $45 to $60 per hour. While the Kiwi agricultural sector prospers, the EU is stuck with a system that forces taxpayers to subsidize their own artificially inflated grocery bills.

This Canadian girl just said what millions are thinking but are too afraid to say out loud. “Can somebody please tell me how we’re still calling Canada a free country?” Then she laid out the receipts: - We can’t access certain news channels without the government or platforms getting in the way. - We can’t even pray in peace without someone trying to shut it down. - Don’t fill out the census? Get fined. - Someone breaks into your house? You can’t defend yourself properly — you can’t even hurt them without risking jail. - We can’t own guns to protect our families. - The government now decides what your kids can see on social media — not you. - And we don’t even get to decide what goes into our own bodies… or our babies’. This isn’t freedom. This is a managed population. Year after year, the Liberals chipped away at it — one “reasonable” restriction at a time — until regular Canadians started asking the question this woman is asking. Mark Carney and the people running this country didn’t inherit a free nation. They inherited one they could control. And they’ve been very busy. If this still feels like “Canada” to you, you’re either not paying attention… or you’re part of the problem. Watch this. Share it. Then ask yourself the same question she did. #cdnpoli #CarneyResign #LiberalFail #Freedom #ParentalRights #SelfDefense #NannyState

@RupertLowe10 @HowardCCox You are doing great work on the Rape Gang exposure but let's be honest, Burnhams team made the Right look like a squabbling rabble. They were of course aided by a collapsing Green party.

Andy Burnham won an overwhelming victory. It is only fair to recognise that and congratulate him and his team. An impressive campaign, particularly their effort on the ground yesterday in Makerfield which was vast. Fair enough.

WE have watched too many cosy episodes of Dad's Army, and so are absurdly keen on war. Time we learned the real thing was a matter of shortages, jobsworths, family separation, loss, high taxes, pain and fire. Then we wouldn't be so sure . mol.im/a/15916045 via @DailyMail`,

@meadwaj You believe that Millipede as Chancellor would help the economic outlook? I cite his track record as energy Secretary to prove that notion false.

Burnham failing to appoint Miliband as Chancellor would be the clearest possible signal that our economic doomloop will continue without even a whisper of interruption. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss time. Autumn Budget will be *fun* and by that I mean terrible.

Thomas | Less Noise, More Delivery@TomSoede

Open letter to Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer Dear Prime Minister, I am writing as a Labour supporter who is deeply concerned by the growing pressure surrounding your leadership, but also as someone who has developed a genuine admiration for the way you conduct yourself. What I respect most about you is your seriousness. You are not a political showman. You do not rely on constant drama, easy slogans or theatrical promises. You come across as disciplined, intelligent, decent and deeply conscious of the responsibility that comes with leading the country. In an age when politics is increasingly dominated by noise, outrage and personality cults, your calmness is a strength. Your resilience is also admirable. You have faced relentless criticism, personal attacks and an often hostile media environment, yet you have continued to behave with dignity. You rarely lash out. You do not appear consumed by ego. You keep returning to the work. That matters to me. Britain has already endured years of political chaos, revolving-door prime ministers and governments more interested in internal warfare than governing. The country does not need another leadership contest. It needs stability, seriousness and delivery. You were elected with a mandate to govern. You inherited damaged public services, weak growth, overcrowded prisons, an NHS under enormous pressure and public trust worn down by fourteen years of Conservative government. None of that can be repaired overnight. I hope you will remain Prime Minister and continue the work until the next general election in 2029. Labour MPs should understand that removing you now could trigger weeks of division, uncertainty and damaging promises made during a leadership contest. The press would feed on the chaos, financial markets could react, and Nigel Farage and Reform would be handed exactly the political instability they want. This is not the time for Labour to imitate the Conservative Party. I also believe your personality is better suited to this difficult period than many people appreciate. You are methodical rather than impulsive, measured rather than reckless, and focused on governing rather than performing. Those qualities may not always generate exciting headlines, but they are the qualities a serious Prime Minister needs. Leadership is not only about popularity. It is about character. It is about remaining calm when others panic, showing discipline when others chase attention, and continuing the difficult work when the noise becomes unbearable. Please hold the line. Many Labour supporters still believe in your integrity, your determination and your sense of duty. Britain needs less political theatre and more delivery, and you deserve the opportunity to complete the job the country elected Labour and you to do. Yours sincerely, Thomas Soede
