Speaker Emerita Pelosi and Mayor Lurie both agree - San Franciscans should vote to impose lifetime term limits on City Hall this June.
I introduced Prop B to give voters a voice in reaffirming their intent around lifetime term limits - and declaring that two terms enough.
Glad to have our city's top leaders, in addition the SF Democratic Party, a majority of the Board of Supervisors, and more on the right side of history.

From the trenches in the SF housing search: It is so insane. Feels like peak mania. People are bidding on places, especially "nice" places, like they are the last home on earth.
Rentals are going within a day after bidding wars.

A San Francisco California resident is facing a $50,000 fine for trimming 5 trees he through was on his property
“The city explains, they're not his, and he wasn't authorized to do it”
The man trimmed 5 trees right in front of his unit because branches were touching the building and interfering with power lines
The city wants to fine him $10,000 per tree cut
After fining out the trees should recover from being trimmed, “Public Works recommended reducing the fines to $12,950”

this landlord is trying to sell his building. the tenants are trying to buy it from him. they have 90 days to secure financing either from themselves or an affordable housing partner. his own realtor says he's willing to negotiate a price. that's not "stealing the building"
