The latest report from Rwanda Development Board (RDB) showcases a record year, a surge in new investments, stronger exports, rising visitor arrivals, and global partnerships paying off.
2025 highlights that stood out:
▪️A record 612+ registered projects, creating over 38,000 new jobs and signaling unwavering investor confidence.
▪️Real estate, manufacturing, and mining remain strong pillars of our economic growth.
▪️FDI inflows reached $872.9M, a major leap reflecting Rwanda’s stable policy environment and service-first approach.
🦍 Tourism revenue hit $685M, boosted by iconic gorilla trekking and evolving park experiences.
🎤🌍 MICE grew by 11%, fueled by 165 international events, including the historic UCI Road World Championships and Move Afrika Kigali.
⚽🏀 Global partnerships under Visit Rwanda continue to elevate the country’s visibility, renewals and new deals with Paris Saint-Germain, Atlético de Madrid, Los Angeles Clippers, and the Los Angeles Rams are deepening impact through 2028–2030.
On top of this, Rwanda continues to shine in global rankings, top in Africa on the World Bank B-READY Report, and consistently among Sub-Saharan Africa’s strongest performers in rule of law.
