Countries that refuse to take back their own criminals while producing large numbers of people who cannot or will not assimilate are not a net benefit to the United States. A moratorium on entries from these nations is a straightforward way to protect American communities before the problems become even more entrenched.

If you import the third world, expect your country to turn into the third world. We introduced the Third World Immigration Moratorium Act. We must HALT imports from dozens of countries refusing to cooperate with deportations and endangering American communities. Entry is a privilege. Our bill bans entry of aliens from the following countries: Afghanistan, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Chad, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Gabon, Gambia, Haiti, Iran, Laos, Libya, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Republic of the Congo, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Turkmenistan, Venezuela, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and aliens with travel documents issued by the Palestinian Authority. We must stop the takeover before it's too late.

@stengel Non-citizens do not need to personally risk voting when the bigger vulnerability is weak registration systems that put them on the rolls in the first place. Once registered, their ballots become available for harvesting or counting whether they ever cast one themselves or not.

The thing I've never understood is why would an undocumented immigrant or non-citizen want to risk being arrested and deported by voting illegally? The answer is, they don't, and that's why they don't try to vote.

Hunter Biden’s pitch for a new New Deal funded by an AI dividend while blaming Trump for dividing the country is the same old elite framing dressed up as wisdom. The people who expanded government power, debt, and dependency over the last several years have done far more to erode trust than any recent administration.

I spent the last few months talking to people across the political spectrum, and to people who want nothing to do with politics at all. Here is what I learned. We are not a divided country. We are a country being divided, on purpose, by an American oligarchy that profits from the fight. They’ve captured our government, denied our healthcare, looted our treasury, and saddled us with crippling debt. I believe in a New New Deal. Healthcare as a human right. The right of every family to a decent home, and an end to endless wars. And a dividend paid to every American from the AI economy, because these machines were built on the whole of human inheritance. That inheritance belongs to all of us, and not just to the handful of men playing God with our very existence. And none of it happens if we just move on. Donald Trump, his family, and his administration are robbing us blind, not just of our money, but of our faith in one another, and they have to answer for it. Truth and reconciliation, not revenge. Then we break the system that let them do it. The question is not whether we will lose our democracy. The question is whether we will fight to take back what has already been stolen. I learned in recovery that you can’t heal what you won’t name. Neither can a country.

House Democrats have been repeating this line for years without producing anything close to the scale of evidence that already exists around the Biden family’s foreign business dealings. The accusation has become so automatic that it now says more about their lack of serious arguments than it does about Trump.

Secretary Mullin’s review makes Newsom’s claim that California has “secure” elections look increasingly ridiculous. Finding over 81,000 potential non-citizen registrations while taking weeks to count ballots in local races shows a system that prioritizes speed and access over basic verification.

@juliettekayyem Kayyem is dramatically overstating the case by framing basic election security measures as an attack on the right to vote. Requiring proof of citizenship and reducing unsecured mail-in ballots strengthens the system rather than weakening it.

Do not laugh about this speech. It’s impossible to follow but he’s directly challenging our right to vote. The president of the United States is lying in order to wage war on our democracy and against the states. I don’t care your politics; everybody should be outraged.

Schumer is using one incident to attack ICE while ignoring the years Democrats spent weakening the agency and shielding illegal immigrants, including criminals, from deportation. If he actually cared about public safety, he would support stronger enforcement instead of constantly trying to tie the hands of the officers trying to remove people who have no right to be here.

Republicans refused even the most basic guardrails on ICE. Now the consequences are being measured in lives. The Trump administration rushed 12,000 agents onto our streets without ensuring they were fit to carry a badge and a gun—and Republicans gave this rogue agency vast power and no accountability. They cannot block every safeguard and then disown the deadly consequences. We must pass the commonsense reforms Democrats offered to prevent more killings.

Warren only sounds the alarm when a conservative-leaning network might gain more reach. She had no problem with years of left-leaning media dominance, Big Tech censorship, and coordination with Democrats to shape what Americans see and hear. This sudden concern for media concentration rings hollow coming from someone who spent years defending the institutions that already control the vast majority of the information flow.

Shapiro’s 43-0 record in court came mostly from judges dismissing cases on procedural grounds rather than ruling on the actual evidence of weakened election procedures. Winning on technicalities does not erase the fact that Pennsylvania and other states dramatically expanded unsecured mail-in voting in ways that reduced safeguards and invited problems.

Donald Trump’s election conspiracies are simply not connected to reality. Every time the President and his enablers have been forced to back up these claims, they’ve failed. I’d know — I beat them 43-0 in court last time they tried to throw out Pennsylvanians' votes.

Trump is dismantling the same agencies and task forces that spent years focusing on the wrong threats while ignoring or downplaying the real weaknesses in the election system. These units became more interested in narrative protection than actual election integrity, which is exactly why structural reforms are needed instead.

Trump has gutted the FBI’s election protection task force, DHS election teams, ODNI cells, and the EAC. If he’s so concerned about the security of our elections… …why is he systematically dismantling the tools to protect them? 🤔

The argument ignores how much easier it was to rig an election in 2020 when Democrats controlled the process, expanded unsecured mail-in voting under the cover of COVID, and faced far less scrutiny. By 2024, tighter rules in many states, reduced mail-in ballots, and much higher public awareness made large-scale manipulation significantly harder to pull off.

So according to Trump the Democrats forgot to rig the election in 2016 (letting him win) then somehow rigged the election in 2020 (while Trump was in power) and then completely forgot to rig it in 2024 (letting him win again). Do I got that right you silly MAGA dipshits?

@Rep_Stansbury Stansbury claiming elections are already safe and secure is the same line Democrats have repeated while aggressively resisting basic safeguards like voter ID and proof of citizenship. If the system were truly airtight, they would not be this opposed to making it stronger.

You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe Democrats were capable of stealing the 2020 election while out of power, but somehow incapable of doing the same in 2024 while in power. That is a categorically, phenomenally dumb thing to believe.

Hasan’s sarcasm would land better if he hadn’t personally taken money from the Chinese government for a trip that looked a lot like state-sponsored propaganda. Newsom calling for the 25th Amendment after Trump’s speech is the same predictable move Democrats have used whenever they dislike what he says. After years of treating the 25th as a political weapon rather than a serious constitutional tool, the claim has lost whatever credibility it once had.

Trump says Democrats forgot to rig the election in 2016, successfully rigged it while *he* was president in 2020, then forgot how to rig it again in 2024. So the only election Democrats supposedly stole was the one he himself controlled. You have to be a special kind of stupid to believe this bullshit.

If Trump wins, it’s a fair election. If he loses, there was fraud. Does he realize the election he’s talking about happened under his watch as President? The only reason Trump is bringing this up now is to distract from the fact he’s failed to make Americans' lives better.

Newsom’s sudden concern for election integrity rings hollow coming from a state with some of the loosest mail-in voting rules in the country. If he were truly serious about protecting the vote, he would start by tightening verification and chain of custody in California instead of grandstanding against federal efforts to do the same.
