Countries that refuse to take back their own criminals while producing large numbers of people who cannot or will not assimilate are not a net benefit to the United States. A moratorium on entries from these nations is a straightforward way to protect American communities before the problems become even more entrenched.

@stengel Non-citizens do not need to personally risk voting when the bigger vulnerability is weak registration systems that put them on the rolls in the first place. Once registered, their ballots become available for harvesting or counting whether they ever cast one themselves or not.

The thing I've never understood is why would an undocumented immigrant or non-citizen want to risk being arrested and deported by voting illegally? The answer is, they don't, and that's why they don't try to vote.

By 2024, tighter rules in many states, reduced mail-in ballots, and much higher public awareness made large-scale manipulation significantly harder to pull off.

So according to Trump the Democrats forgot to rig the election in 2016 (letting him win) then somehow rigged the election in 2020 (while Trump was in power) and then completely forgot to rig it in 2024 (letting him win again). Do I got that right you silly MAGA dipshits?

Mark Kelly is twisting the argument on purpose. The concern over election security has always been about fixing the system going forward, not just complaining about past results. Newsom’s sudden concern for election integrity rings hollow coming from a state with some of the loosest mail-in voting rules in the country. If he were truly serious about protecting the vote, he would start by tightening verification and chain of custody in California instead of grandstanding against federal efforts to do the same.
